Pilbara BHPs all out with their fat bellies!

S*x ratio 4.3.

I have a list of people interested and will go through and contact them / you in date order once become a little established. The last lot started feeding quickly, so even though these little fatties have plenty on board I’m confident!

There is another clutch of 5 cooking and hopefully another few going to drop (all Pilbara)

Pretty yuck day but this cheered me up… pushing the envelope at 62 days incubation, first Pilbara Black Headeds arriving (my second breeding of this locality)..more to come of course where they are more on less out

Late but I couldn’t help snapping some sneak peaks of a couple of project examples just sloughed. The Carpets are impressive, loads of orange / gold in the majority with velvet black background plus a few reasonably striped. The Woma project is a super light line I started. I originally called it Lemon then thought might be hypo in the original male but whatever it is, it’s going the direction I was heading for!

Happy New Year to me.. Good drills from another Pilbara BHP - only 2 years old!
She was kept in a V70 vision tub, had no thoughts about breeding her. Cleaning one day, I noticed she was full of follicles, so bunged her with the male. Going forward kept same temp gradients / routine as her mum and here we go. Thought to be difficult to breed but I’d guess once you get them going in captivity like many species, it’s a lot easier!
P.S her sister is only weeks behind 😜
