Meet Lewie 12 weeks old in for his first bath and a little groom today with his big brother Lochie a pleasure to do both and wind down for my break at Christmas . This little man was good with his bath , the dryer was a little daunting but got the hang of it slowly , but trimming his fur under his feet with a trimmer he didn’t mind at all and nails he didn’t realize he was having them cut . So a lovely baby and all booked in for his nxt 4 week groom ❤️

Gorgeous Derek (Conarhu Andante Andante), owned and loved with Karen Lott . I’m so pleased and proud, Derek has passed all his health certificates which as we all know as breeders is very nerve wrecking .

Another regular Lochie who is now 2 years old and has been coming to me from 3-4 months old . Loves his grooms . Lochie comes every 6/8 weeks never misses .

I had this little cutie in for his first groom at 4mnths old , going by the name of “Tofu.” Really does pay to have them start their grooms as soon as they can , he was excellent for both . And a treat for him afterwards was a playtime with my two girls , who was so gentle with him.

🏆🐾 The Conarhu team is ready to hit the show ring tomorrow at Dogswest during the 3 shows hosted by the The Golden Retriever Club of WA.

🐶✨ With over 70 golden retrievers competing in the morning and afternoon, this is a great opportunity to meet local breeders and see the best of the breed in the state.

Not posted for a while so busy grooming🤣🤣. This is Clarke back in for his regular groom, he comes 6-8 weeks and it keeps his coat looking lovely , no Matt’s in pants or under ears , has a nice brush out and tidy up . Less hard work for the groomer and less stress for the dog . All looking good .

🥰 Bwana, Mia and Swayze were perfect ambassadors for our breed, welcoming every pet and interaction with the public, which is what the Royal show is all about.
😱 With the biggest entry in the Gundog group - 43 golden retrievers - our team did very well in the ring as well, under judges Ms T. Sloan (TAS) and Mrs H. Morrison (TAS).

💙🐾 Our handsome boy Bwana (Aus Ch Conarhu Meant To Be Bwana) and his mum Fernanda Herrmann were back in the ring last weekend and did a fantastic job representing the Conarhu family!

A newbie today this is Harley she’s 8 mnth old. Lovely girl very well behaved for her first groom. Good in the bath and blow dry. First put on the hoody and started at the back for drying and little by little I removed it as she got used to the noise and as you can see she had no fear . All baby steps with young dogs and some older ones , I treat all as I would treat my own.

Meet Maddie 5.5 mnths old this is her second groom, her first one didn’t go very well , the whole procedure was stressful for her. But we booked her in for her second one . And with baby steps this is the out come she is completely different . She enjoyed her bath and she was fine with the dryer . So these babies can learn to enjoy their grooms just by perseverance and a little TLC , and I think I saw her give a little smile.

Gorgeous Maddie , all finished from her bath , blow dry , and groom , plus her nails trimmed . She was a good girl. And I honestly think she enjoyed her pamper .

Gorgeous Milly in for her groom. Lovely girl , didn’t like the dryer on her first groom but she was happy to take it today . But her owners have been practicing with the hair dryer at home . So she was a lot better .
