Just a reminder to our wonderful clients, we are still running the “Pensioner Pets Month” promotion until the end of June 🎊

Brighton vet is running an offer for our PENSIONER PETS starting Monday 20th May until end of June.
If your pet is over 8yrs old we are doing a special of $220 for a full health check INCLUDING full blood test which screens for inflammatory conditions, anaemia, kidney, liver insufficiency and thyroid imbalance. Give us a ring for more details or book in any time from Monday onwards.
Ideal for older animals on chronic medication, or those that may have lost their 'spark' as they're getting grey around the whiskers.
Pro tip: bring urine 🐕🐈‍⬛🥃

*Stray cat*
This beautiful microchipped male sterilised ginger has been brought into the clinic today. Unfortunately we couldn’t get into contact with his owners. We close at 12pm and don’t have the ability to look after this beautiful man over the weekend, so he is at the City of Wanneroo rangers.
Thanks

Just a reminder to all our clients,
Please be aware that parvovirus cases are still being confirmed in our area.
Parvovirus is a highly contagious, serious disease which causes vomiting, diarrhoea, collapse, dehydration and death. During an outbreak we recommend ensuring your pet's vaccinations are up to date, that you do not allow your dog to socialise with unknown animals, and if they are unwell they be checked by a vet (even if vaccinated).
Our clinic is frequently cleaned and as safe as possible to allow us to still see all of our patients but we are taking the following precautions:
*Carry puppies - do not place on floor or allow any sniffing!
*If your animal is vomiting or has diarrhoea - wait in car -vet will come to you (call when you're here)
*Inform us if your animal is NOT vaccinated

To our clients or anyone in need due to the fires.
Please call any Vetwest clinic and they will divert you to the closest hospital with space for your pet.
Stay safe ❤️

With love,
Brighton Vet team

To all of our wonderful clients affected by the current bushfires, we are thinking of you & your pets 🐾

⚠️ Vetwest hospitals are here to help & able to take in displaced pets due to the fires. Please contact any clinic except Wanneroo who are unable to accept pets at the moment.

👏🏼 A very big thank you to the Clarkson team for opening their doors until midnight last night, namely, Jen, Kelly, Nat and Dr Marie. All pets dropped off are being well cared for this morning by our wonderful nursing team 🐶

We hope you all stay safe ❤️
