Today we lost a good family friend with the passing of Barrie Robinson. Some of you will remember the cricket match we played up in Helena Valley back in the eighties which Barrie had helped organised. He lived a fulfilling life and will be dearly missed.

12/12/1929 - 23/04/2023

Today we lost our mum who passed away in her sleep. Our mum was a fine person and we will miss her.
She was born in the USA and then went back to Scotland where her parents were from. She grew up during the war and after it was over she met our father. They got married and had 5 kids and then my dads mate had come to Australia and told him to get here asap....which he did. We then all left and went and lived in Papua New Guinea eventually residing finally back in Australia were we all stayed together. She has seen many things in her life and experienced many things most people wouldnt of but all in all time was not on her side any longer. We are sad but we want to celebrate the fulfilling life she had and we take our hat of to her.

RIP Mum, we will always love you.

Mother nature has again vented her fury with the massive earthquake in Turkey and Syria. There is such devastation and worst of all 11000 at last count have died and this does not take into account those that are missing. One amazing thing that is happening and we can be thankful for their efforts is the number of people being found and rescued. We think so much of the victims but dont forget those that have to go out and search for people, some who may of passed on, some that are injured but also the joy of survivors.

There is such devastation and worst of all 11000 at last count have died and this does not take into account those that are missing. Lisa Marie Presley - RIP
We lost one of Rock and Rolls icons decades ago and now we have lost his daughter. The world was shocked to hear Lisa had passed away. Her last few years were turbulent with passing of her son due to su***de, from all accounts Lisa never accepted his passing. We must remember the better times of her life which were filled with joy and achievements. Lisa has left us we 3 daughters.

Very sad day for the worlds motoring enthusiasts with Ken Block passing away. The guy gave so much enjoyment with his Gymkhana videos, the thrashing of all wheel drive machines he created. Ken was a super star and will be sorely missed. We would like to thank him for his contribution to motoring that gave us such a thrill.

The passing of Pope Benedict XVI was a sad moment but gave us all the chance to reflect on who he was and what he did. Only the second time in 600 years since the Pope has stepped down. He cited failing health health when he resigned but managed to give as he had always done to his loyal followers.

How sad we are mourning the passing of Kirstie Alley. After short fight with cancer we lose a Emmy winning actress. We all know why she was brilliant and we feel sad but let us remember her for the movie and sitcom performances. Another star has gone out but we will always remember Kirstie.

We have had 2 terrible accidents recently with the loss of life in Korea and now a suspension bridge collapsing in India. In both cases 150 people have passed away. How sad it must be to have to stand by in the knowledge you have lost someone and then living with it. Our hearts go out to those that are suffering these tragic events. We also must think about the rescue teams who have to come in and try make good with the situation and carry with them this sadness with the loss of life. These individuals are immensely strong willed people.

How sad was it that we have lost Olivia Newton-John. A shining light in Australian music and a wonderful women. She passed away surrounded by family in the USA. Olivia was always a person that never complained or judged and was well and truly respected. We all remember her in the musical Grease and proved she could act but her heart was always in her music.
