Have you seen what ear mites look like in cats and dogs?
Ear mites are fairly common in dogs and cats. They can live on the skin of the ear canal.
Most if not all pets with ear mites exhibit excessive ear shaking and scratching. This can cause visible redness and irritation of bots ears as well as black discharge and bad smell.
Mites can also travel all over the body causing itching and irritation.
If left untreated then it can lead to infection and damage to the ear drum.
If you suspect your pet has any ear problems then it is best to speak to your veterinarian as ear problems can lead to pain and discomfort.
