🚀🫘 MEET RIDDICK 🫘🚀

Hi! My PRA name is Riddick but my foster family lovingly calls me Black Beans (or BB for short) as I have the cutest little black "toe beans" on my otherwise all-white feet! I'm a super smoochy kitty and a real "people cat".

Nature
I LOVE smooching your face and your hands, I'm talkative and a purr-monster. I get a bit excited so sometimes when I purr, I dribble a little, and might give you a gentle nibble on the chin during smooching sessions (it's just a love-bite, I swear!). I love "my people" so much that when they return from being away during the day - before they've even come through the door - I meow loudly to let them know how excited I am to see them again. I'll wait in my favourite greeting spot, purring, ready and waiting for lots of smooches and for a cuddle.

I enjoy being picked up and find it so comfy, I'll let my back legs dangle down relaxed. I'll sometimes even let them hold me upside down like a baby.

Something you may not know about me is that I have a cute little stumpy tail like a rabbit or a bobcat. It kind of makes me one of a kind, don’t you think?

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I'm comfortable with older children (my foster home has a 16-year-old).

I must admit I do get a bit dominant around other cats, so I would need a home with no other cats.

There are no dogs at my current foster home. I am pretty tolerant of visitors (it doesn't take me long to come out and say hello) and I don't take too long to settle into new surroundings.

Likes / Dislikes
I love nothing more than being around people for cuddles and smooches, and a good chat. My favourite sleeping spot is on a blanket on my foster mum and dad's bed, or sometimes under the covers if my foster mum lets me in.

Aside from people-love, I adore food! I'm a bit obsessed with it actually (who isn't?). I will eat most cat food offered, but I go nuts over human food, particularly meat, and will come and check out what's cooking if anyone is in the kitchen and opening tins or packets of anything. I am also crazy for those Temptations cat treats and enjoy playing "chase the treat" where my foster mum throws a treat and I run after it and pounce as quickly as I can (well, it might run away!).

I love playing and can entertain myself by playing "zoomies", but I also enjoy playing with a shoelace dragged around, screwed up tinfoil balls or small mice or other toys I can throw around. Oh and I love a good cardboard box to jump in and scratch at.

My PURR-fect home would be in a family with adults or older children; people I can love and smooch with, and a comfy bed I can sleep on and share with you. I'm a sweet and loving kitty and would love to be your new companion! Will you take me home and be my hooman?

Medical Notes: Riddick has epiphora which means an overflow of tears from the eyes. Normally, a thin film of tears is produced to lubricate the eyes and the excess fluid drains into the nasolacrimal ducts, or tear ducts, which are located in the corner of the eye next to the nose. The nasolacrimal ducts drain tears into the back of the nose and the throat. Epiphora is most commonly associated with insufficient drainage of the tear film from the eye. Most cats with epiphora will experience intermittent episodes throughout their life and it is likely that some degree of epiphora will persist despite all treatment efforts.

Before coming into our care, Riddick sustained an injury to his tail that resulted in amputation of most of his tail.

🚚 🏇🏿 ATTENTION ASCOT CUSTOMERS 🏇🏿 🚚

Our truck has booked in to be serviced on Wednesday 1st of May. This means our warehouse staff will be still heading into Ascot with our small truck, however due to weight restrictions orders on Wednesday will need to be limited. We will be back zooming around on Thursday as normal.
