DONT TELL NAN 🤫 finally breaks thru and gets her maiden out the way, she’s had the weight of the world on her shoulders since a two year old gaining a following thanks to Taj Dyson ever so famous instagram story’s since the yearling sales, so we couldn’t be more stoked to finally see her cross the line first.

Thanks to all of her loyal owners being ever so patient, and to all the work Taj has put into her since day dot.

and lastly thankyou Laqdar Ramoly for sticking with her after last start and giving her a 🍑 of a ride

Another family affair at this years Perth Magic Millions

We were lucky enough to be able to secure this

Star Turn X Miss Strezelecki filly.

She is half sister to Mizlecki in which our family hold close.

We have had a lot of fun and success with the Miss Strezelecki bloodlines throughout the years including Mizlecki winning the Belmont Oaks, Old Comrade Stakes, Sheila Gwynne Classic, Raconteur Stakes, 3rd in the Starstruck Classic, 4th in the G3 Belmont Sprint, 2 x 4ths in the Hyperion Stakes she also managed to win 2 Saturday races as an early 2 year old.

Star Turn has the highest winners to runners strike rate across all of Australia and New Zealand this season, In Australia he struck at 7.7% higher then nearest rival, Frankel and has a 72% winners to runners strike rate.

We have purchased her as an early running type as we expect her to run as a 2 year old.

Paris has officially got her race name, and it comes with a story

DONT TELL NAN

Taj has always had an interest in yearlings and breeding, and when the sales came up he was straight to the catalogue to find mums next horse.

He went to the sales and looked at some he had liked and one stood out more then the others, it’s was a Universal Ruler x Seeking alpha. He called Karen and nan saying that he really liked this one and nan shut it down and said we weren’t getting another horse.

As the sales went on, he called mum and said we really need to bid on this one, you’d be silly not too, so without nans knowledge Karen and Taj had organised someone to bid on it on mums behalf, they ended up being the highest bidder and tajs first words to Karen were “don’t tell nan”

the joke had stuck and we thought we would throw it in for the sake of it and it's so happened that we ended up with the name.

Paris then became Tajs absolute baby, you could say he treats her like his child

Paris will be heading to jump out's tomorrow to gain some experience at lark hill then will follow up with a trial at belmont the following week.

we cannot wait to continue on with her and look forward to the next few weeks

Our boy Tex has found his forever,

Tex left the stables today to join his new family, and we couldn’t be happier with where he is going.

We cannot wait to see what his life looks like after racing and to see him and Sam McIntyre doing life together.

Ian’s Special just wanted to let everyone know she’s A’Ok after putting on an acrobatic show in the mounting yard yesterday resulting in her becoming a late scratching.

Belle will head to trials this week to be cleared to head back to the races, she’s a mare full of sass and she showed us that yesterday.

We move forward and are just happy our girl is safe and sound 🤍

Just an Appreciation for our girl Sienna Staeck

RubiRock also known as Rocky is one of siennas all time favourites in the stable, which makes the win all that more special as it was also her first winning strap.

The amount of love she has for these animals is unmatchable and the bond she’s created with these horses is amazing.

She is a huge part of our stable.

Thankyou for everything you do sienna, we couldn’t do it without you 🤍

RUBIROCK 🪨

Rocked them today, when breaking his maiden, just his second start for the stable his proved to be a nice addition now making it 2: 1:1:0

With a peach of a ride from Taj Dyson he proved too strong over the 1600m

This is also Tajs first win for the stable which makes it all that more special, Proud of you boys

Everyone behind the scenes have done an amazing job

ps. it was also Sienna Staeck first winning strap, we couldn’t do it without you

A busy day at headquarters today with Four runners from the stable.

Rubirock 🪨
Had his 2nd start for the stable, and second start in WA today and improved off of last run, He Ran home well and will be looking to go over further next start.

Ians Special 🌸
Returned from a long spell and returned well running home really well for a 4th just missing the placings by the smallest of margins at Odds, she’s a tough mare.

Fruit Loops 🍉
Missed the start and ended up worse off then we’d of hoped in running, and had to create his own luck from the back of the field and will be looking for further next start.

Norich 🤍
After some off runs he returned back with his best mate Troy and dropped back to 1200m, he had a wall of horses infront of him from go to whoa and was only was beaten 2.2 lengths running the quickest time he has over 1200 and on the bridle, he showed us he might be on track to his old self with some luck next start.

Hopefully next start they can all get a bit more luck and be competitive. Thankyou to all Connections. 🤍

Ducimus X Rubic Rose Yearling Filly.

K Kersley Racing, is seeking interest in ownership of a yearling filly out of our Mare Rubic Rose by Sire Ducimus.

Rubic Rose ( Rubick X Kyoto )
Trained by Karen Kersley, she showed talent early on before having plenty of set backs thrown her way, She competed in the feature 2 year old races and never got to fully show her ability, she was last seen at the track in 2020.

Ducimus (Snitzel X Beauty World)
8th Foal and 8th winner out of Beauty World
Last Perth Yearling Sales Ducimus produced 15 Yearlings to the sale where 12 were sold for and average of $37,958.
Leading Taddy comes out of that sale and has broken his MDN at start 2 for Ash Maley.
Ducimus is also half brother to Liten In My Veins, Which Fred Kersley had the pleasure to train before being transferred East, Liten In my Veins showed plenty of ability early on when winning a Group 3 on Debut.

Today we head to Belmont with My Norina in Race 6.

Race 6 is a very special race today, it is named after Moses, a young man we lost way too soon. Moses was a big part of Kersley racing, and was one of our main men.

He was sunshine in a bottle and he was never not laughing, you’ll never be forgotten moses, thankyou for being a huge part of our life and everyone else’s who was lucky enough to meet you.

Laqdar jumps in the saddle and it’ll sure to be a biter sweet moment for all invovled, no matter the out come.

I hope we can make you proud.

Super stoked with our girl On Gaurd M’Lady 👸🏼 Debut run today with a fast finishing 3rd 🥉 paying $91 at Pinjarra Park Racecourse over 1400 m with Troy Turner in the saddle.

Starlight is half sister to Bourbon Beau 🥃 and the last and final foal out of our mare Starlight Lady who unfortunately passed away late last year, She was Karens pride and joy and Starlight is very similar in attitude to her mum, we can only hope she has half the ability her mum did.

It’s been a long road to get her to the races but we finally did and we can’t wait to see what her future holds 🤍

Norich repping the new race gear today made by Jody's Workshop, We are absolutely stoked to have these!!

Norich went around today on Strickland Stakes day and we couldn’t be more stoked with how our lil bush pony went!

He showed he can be competitive with the big boys by running the quickest last 600 and hitting the line strong despite being stuck in traffic with no way out more then once in the home straight!

Troy Turner was stoked with him and said he didn’t feel out of place in the big smoke, so we will see how he recovers and look for a similar race hopefully with a better gate and less traffic 🤞🏽

Norich has been a massive asset to the team and we can’t wait to see what he has in store, onwards and upwards 🤍💫
