Abi kindly took this video this morning of her very relaxed standardbred, Charlie, eating breakfast, she has on many occasions told us how much our boots have helped her horse, seeing how relaxed he is here makes us very happy, Bye Fly boots prevent painful insect bites on legs and prevent irritable stomping which can lead to hoof damage and weight loss.

Poco's Mum Jacinta reports that he is doing very well in his custom made fly boots, she says they are a perfect fit, bar the coronet band that was a little large for him, but she fixed that by applying bell boots (very clever idea).
Jacinta says the boots are not rubbing his current sores so they are healing well and the best yet, Poco is not lying down as much we are told which ia a great sign that he is now a lot more comfortable.
We are at Day 5 in his new boots and we hope to continue to track his progress and in a few weeks see his healed up legs and at some point later on, we can transition him out to normal Bye Fly boots which would be a little lighter on him and a little tighter on the coronet band and not sit as high on his legs, but rather stop midway up the knee :-)

We as a team have to put our thinking caps on this morning for Jacinta's beautiful paint, the problem is the flies biting him on his legs, but then in frustration he is biting at his legs creating the sores she tells me.
We have to engineer his boots to sit perfectly on his coronet, but then out enough to not rub or touch the sore areas, but at the same time keep the flies off him. We love a good challenge.
We hope to track his progress and update our followers on his condition and progress as we go through this process of helping him.

Some horses take a little time to get used to them it may be a matter of a few minutes or a couple of days - his Mum already reports he is back to walking normally now 🙂
