Baby Update 🤗

Amy and Tom welcomed their little baby boy Charlie to the world in January. He has been an absolute joy (most of the time 😂) and despite his resting grump face we are sure he is a happy boy. Amy is very much looking forward to returning to Riseley Vet early June ❤️❤️

As we all know the cost of living keeps going up :-(
We have endeavoured to absorb as many price increases from our suppliers as we can, but unfortunately we are now having to increase the cost of both our food and medication in the upcoming weeks.

Breed: Pink and grey X major Mitchell
Age: 1 year 2 months
Appearance:
• Looks like a standard pink and grey but has an orange crest on their head
• Has a feather condition so Static has some stuffed up feathers in their wings and tail
• Wings are cut (poorly by previous owner) so Static has minimal secondary flight feathers
Missing on 10/2/2023 around 5pm

Hello lovely clients 👋🏽

It is nearly time for our crew to have a well earned break over the silly season. But fear not because the lovely Dr Matthew and Nurse Ren and Breanna will be here for the 3 days between Christmas and New Year.

Our opening hours will be as follows

Friday 23rd December 9am - 2pm

Saturday 24th December CLOSED
Monday 26the December CLOSED
Tuesday 27th December CLOSED

Wednesday 28th December 9am- 1pm
Thursday 29th December 9am- 1pm
Friday 30th December 9am - 1pm

Saturday 31st December CLOSED
Monday 2nd January CLOSED

Then it’s back to business as usual on Tuesday 3rd January.

So, don’t forget to stock up on food and medications before we take a break, as we will not be ordering between Christmas and New Year.

(Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists) We are so proud to have him working with us for the 3rd year at Riseley Vet. This membership is an official recognition of Dr Matt’s knowledge and experience in this field even though we already know he’s awesome! Well done Dr Matt 👏🌟

We would like to wish our super nurse Amy all the best with her next role as Mum!

Amy has been a huge part of the Riseley Vet family over the last 10 years, but now it’s time for her to expand her family! No, not with more kittens (much to Amy’s disappointment I’m sure) but with a beautiful baby boy expected in January! Amy will be leaving us 😢 at the end of the year and I’m sure you would all like to wish her well for the future. We will no doubt all see her back sometime soon at RVC in 2023! but for now Good Luck Amy and Thank you for everything 🙏☺️

In respect of the passing of Queen Elizabeth II we will be closed tomorrow to observe the National Day of Mourning. We will be back to normal hours on Friday 23rd with additional consult times available.

We will also be closed on Monday 26th September for the public holiday and will return to regular hours on Tuesday. If your pet requires attention on either of these days we recommend contacting WAVES on 94125700

We understand that due to the change in Government Policy masks are no longer mandatory in Western Australia, but we kindly ask that you continue to wear a mask when visiting Riseley Veterinary Centre. Social distancing is impossible during the close confines of a consult room so we are doing this to ensure that we continue to have sufficient staff available and healthy to be able to treat your pets. If you come to Riseley Vet Centre and don’t have a mask on you, then we can provide you with a new surgical mask to wear while you are inside the hospital.

It's Easter!!

Dear valued clients,
the year ahead is likely to be challenging. In order to continue to provide you and your pets with the highest standard of medical and personal care that we always aim to achieve, we have some requirements.

1) It is mandatory to wear a mask covering your mouth and nose whilst in the building.

2) Please check in using the SafeWA QR code or the manual register at the front desk.

3) It is mandatory to be vaccinated to enter the building. Please have your proof of vaccination ready to be checked when you get to reception.

If you cannot comply with these conditions (including medical mask or vaccination exemptions) please DO NOT enter the building. Contact us by phone on 9329 9222 and we will discuss the best way to attend to your pet.

If you are unwell or suspect you may have been in contact with someone with COVID-19, please DO NOT enter the building, again contact us by phone and we will discuss the best way to attend to your pet.

In order to comply with social distancing requirements, we would request that unless physical assistance is required only ONE person attend with your pet. In addition, we can only have small numbers of people in the waiting room. If you find that there are a number of people in the waiting room when you arrive, please indicate quickly to reception that you are here and wait outside or in your car and we will attend to you as soon as possible.

We would kindly ask that if you require a prescription to be filled or to collect food please ring ahead or email us on [email protected]

Please follow all directions from the staff at reception.

In order to navigate the coming months, we may have to from time to time do any of the following.

1) Conduct contactless drop off/over the phone consultations

2) Conduct telemedicine consultations via videocall

3) May need to adjust or reschedule appointments at short notice

4) May need to triage consults in order of urgency not appointment times

Everyone at Riseley Veterinary Centre is completely dedicated to caring for your pet and we ask that you be patient and kind. Due to the latest Covid announcement this afternoon, it is mandatory that masks are worn again inside the clinic as of Monday 17th January until further notice.

Please comply with the government guidelines to help protect yourself, your families and our staff so we can all stay safe and continue to provide the best care for your pets.

- Please continue to sign in using the SafeWA QR code we have outside the door or at reception. We also have a manual registration.
- Please use the hand sanitiser at reception.
- Please maintain social distancing. TWO clients can be in the waiting room at once. We may ask you to kindly wait outside if this maximum is met.
- If you or your family are unwell or have been to any of the exposure sites listed currently on the Healthy WA website, please advise us of this over the phone and have someone else bring your pet to the clinic.

We would like to thank you all for your cooperation, patience and understanding once again.
