Chester is still missing.
REWARD OFFERED $250
We reside on Branchton Loop in Baldivis, near Nairn and Bramall. Chester has been missing since Wednesday, February 7th, at 8:30 PM. After reviewing our cameras, he managed to slip past me without me realizing when I opened the front door. Chester is an indoor cat, unaware of the outdoor world. We’ve searched tirelessly, spoken to neighbors, and contacted authorities, distributed flyers to neighbours but there have been no sightings. Desexed, microchipped, and collar-free, Chester’s unique personality has left a void in our loving home. Our son is deeply attached to Chester, and we also have another kitten at home who was very attached to Chester and is now requiring vet treatment due to stress from Chester’s absence.
Reward Offered: $250 In an effort to bring Chester home, we are offering a $250 reward for his safe return. This is not to suggest that anyone has decided to keep him, but rather an incentive for people around the area to check their yards, sheds, garages, and any small hiding places they may have around the house or be more aware when out and about walking.

If you live in these areas, please check your garage, sheds, and small spaces. Your help in sharing this post is greatly appreciated. Let’s bring Chester home! 🐾

To all my valued clients and followers,
With a heavy heart and tears in my eyes while a write this due to my recent on-going injury I have decided to close the grooming shack.
This was a very difficult decision but unfortunately as grooming is so repetitive on my body my injury will constantly flare up. It has been recommended by specialist I do not groom large breeds. If you know me big/large dogs were my passion and what I enjoyed most. The specialist has recommended when the physio clears me to only groom 1 or 2 small dogs a day or every couple days unfortunately doing this will not cover the cost of my outgoings.
My clients – I want to thank you so much for all your support over the past few years and trusting me with your doggies. I will miss you all, this decision would have to be one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make.
Thank you to everyone for your patience over the last couple months.
Give your fur babies a big tight cuddle from me.

Happy Easter🐰

I hope everyone has enjoyed their easter break.

I am now back from Bali 😀

I have now personally contacted all clients regarding any future booking for 2023. If you have not received a message from me, please message me as there may have been communication error as I have been in Bali the last couple weeks, however majority of clients were contacted prior to me leaving.

Please note all booking for 2023 have now been cancelled and I will resume taking booking once I'm cleared for work again.

If I haven't responded to your message, I will do this week.

I have had a few clients offer to stay to lift and move their dogs into the bath and on the grooming table, so I can still groom them as nice as it is for you to offer unfortunately it's not just the lifting component that irritates the injury, it is the repetitive movement e.g., clipping, brushing, washing etc.
My right side is my dominant side and unfortunately this is the side the injury has occurred on. On Saturday I vacuumed and mopped my floors and that has irritated my neck so it's things like that and sometimes when I am washing and deshedding a large dog I can have them in the bath for up to 45mins using my whole right side of my body, I wish it was as simple as having the client lift their dog into the bath and onto the grooming table for me.
Please don't take offense if I have replied with no to this question.

I am back to physio tomorrow and will post another update towards the end of the week.

Hey everyone,

I am currently in Bali on a family holiday. I tried to contact everyone regarding all future bookings for 2023 before leaving but I did run out of time life has been a bit crazy 🙃

I still have a few more clients to contact but I have personally contacted 90% of clients regarding my current situation with recommendations of other groomers.
I will continue to contact clients when I have moment to do so.
Some clients have replied to my message if I haven’t replied once I’m back in Oz I will 😊

I still have no return date but I am straight back to the Physio when I arrive home.

🚨🚨🚨 Return to work update!!!

Some clients may be aware I have been off work due to a recent neck injury I did briefly returned back to work last Thursday however woke on Friday with a seized neck again and had to cancel appointments.

I have seen the doctor today and received my CT results unfortunately due to the injury that has occurred I have been put on a return to work plan.

At present it is recommended I do not lift/move anything heavier than 5kgs for a 4 week period. I will start seeing a physiotherapist on a regular basis who will then direct me to when I can start lifting more Kgs.

This is gonna be a drawn out process most likely for my medium to large dogs.

I am sorry for the inconvenience this has caused, this is the downside to being a sole trader not having anyone to step in to help when needed and the loss of income doesn’t help either 😢

Please be assured there is some really awesome groomers around the Baldivis/Rockingham area who will take good care of your doggie. ❤️

A few weeks back I put a pinned post on my page a with groomers in the area who have availability.

Going forward I will start contacting all my clients individually who have appointments booked in.
I have decided it will be best for the business to cancel all booking for 2023 and start fresh when I am given the green light to return to work, as it will be stressful and annoying for me and the the client constantly rescheduling/reshuffling appointments.
I will post updates as the time goes on so all my clients know when I am back to work and what weight restrictions are in place. I am confident I will be back at work by the end of April grooming my small sized dogs again 🤞
Once I am back to work I will only allow clients to make one appointment at a time until I am confident I won’t be in this situation again.

🚨attention clients

Last week I injured my neck pretty badly while working my neck was stuck in one position for two days and I still do not have full movement in my neck. The doctor has put a weight restriction of 12kgs in place for 6 weeks I am also awaiting CT scan to make sure it’s nothing more than muscle damage has been done.

I understand this will affect some of my clients and I do apologise. I wanted to give everyone the heads up now and I will personally start contacting clients who had there appointments canceled last week and any clients this may affect over the next few weeks.

A Friendly reminder to book ahead and not to leave your doggies appointment to the last minute.

My work hours are Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 9am to 2pm.
There is only one of me which unfortunately means I am limited to how many dogs I can groom.

I currently have about 15 regular clients on a cancelation list.

My next available appointment is May/June depending on service required. I hate disappointing clients when I am unable to fit their doggies in, so I have been in contact with some awesome groomers that are servicing the Baldivis/Rockingham area and have available appointments.

The pooch day spa just opened in Rockingham offering double coated desheds.

🚨 It has been brought to my attention that your original booking time may be slightly different to reminder message time.
I’m unsure why this has occurred the only thing I can think of is when I have adjusted my business hours starting and finishing earlier to accommodate school pick up and drop offs and has altered some appointments to fit within the new business hours.

If there is a time difference it should only be 15-30mins to the original time.

The reminder message sent 48hrs prior is the correct time I am seeing on my end, so please double check times incase you have it written down differently. If you are able to make the reminder message time no need to message me however if it interacts with other appointments ect. you have planned please message me as it may conflict with my schedule for the day as I can only see what’s in front of me now and not previously.

Hopefully there is no more issues going forward🤞

I haven’t been as active on my page the last couple weeks, I will admit getting back into the school routine before and after school has been a struggle 🙃🥴🙃
