Their sweet mum did so well and after surgery, she was the best mumma cleaning and feeding her babies 🥰 🐶

Meet 14 year old Suzie 🐶
Suzie came to us in February with a broken femur after she was unfortunately hit by a car. Dr Joram performed a fracture repair and despite her age, she has made a speedy recovery!

This is Olli 🐱
Olli snapped off both his thigh bone balls from the top of his thigh bone.
He had an operation to remove both thigh bone balls.
This is him walking today post-operation. 🐈
You would not think anything ever happened to him.
Olli has made an extremely well recovery ❤️‍🩹

This stunning girl is Millie! This brave girl had a cystotomy with us to remove this monster bladder stone! Now almost a month later, Millie is doing much better, sporting a gorgeous red ribbon for her photo 🥳

Earlier this week, we had this beautiful red tailed black cockatoo bought in to the clinic by a Good Samaritan. After examination, our vets discovered this beautiful boy had a broken wing. He has since been transported by the amazing wildlife carers at River Wren Rescue to the Perth Zoo for surgery and rehabilitation 🦜🩷

Simple tips that can help save the life of a dog experiencing heat stroke. Prevention is better than cure...ensure your furry ones have:-
-access to a shaded area,
-plenty of cool water to drink
-only walk when its cool and
-never leave a pet locked in a car.

A few tips to help our furry ones during this warm weather ☀️

When a dog gets too hot and can't regulate it's body temperature by panting, it can lead to heat stroke. Signs of heatstroke include

🐾Heavy panting and difficulty breathing
🐾Excessive drooling
🐾Lethargy
🐾 Collapse or Vomitting

Puppies, older dogs, Brachycephalic pets or those with preexisting heart or respiratory issues are most susceptible to heat stroke.

Please reach out to us for immediate vet attention if your pet is suffering from heatstroke.

Meet Jake, a gentle giant who is full of tricks. Dr Joram had the pleasure of sigining him off a couple of days ago. Jake presented with a few concerning lumps which Dr Joram meticulously excised. He had his own special way of showing his appreciation. What a better way to start the day 🥰

We had some VERY cute visitors at the clinic today 🥰 Mumma and her ducklings were first seen in our car park and then wandered down the driveway until they made their way to busy Mandurah road where the nurses watched as cars stopped for them to cross the road safely ❤️🦆
