Sadly early this afternoon we have had a black and white cat brought to the clinic that was found deceased - Ewen Street area of Doubleview. The cat was not microchipped but was wearing a pink collar. We are hoping to alert or locate the owner, so they may have closure and will respectfully hold the remains for 2 weeks should the owner wish to contact us and advise of their wishes.

We've had a sweet little male puppy brought into the clinic this afternoon. We know someone must be missing him! He is microchipped but the details are not up to date. Please phone the clinic if you are missing your puppy! Proof of ownership with photos will be required. He's happily getting lots of attention and treats at DVC but if we can't find his owner by 3:30pm this afternoon, he'll be transferred to the Stirling Animal Facility for further care until his owner can be found.

We’d like to take a moment to thank the vet clinics who help us out when we have critical wildlife patients in need. We usually transport seabirds and waterbirds to wildlife centers, but the drive can be long…

This week, Doubleview Vet Centre kindly helped us at short notice with three birds suffering from extreme injuries. All three birds had dreadful compound fractures to their wings, and sadly, sometimes the kindest option is to end a bird’s suffering as soon as possible. Thank you, Doubleview Vet staff for your kindness and support for creatures domestic and wild. ❤️🦆🐈🦢🐶
