Calling our furry friends! Let’s wag our tails and have some fun at our dog play dates!

Bring your pooch and enjoy a large enclosed dog play area at Perth’s largest dog friendly cafe Slate Cafe.

The cafe also has a spacious dog friendly alfresco dining area, kids rock climbing, nature playground, goats to feed and a treat truck just for dogs.

☕️ If attending alone and are looking to order food or coffee, please order at the main counter located near the ramp entrance to the dining area or ask one of
our friendly staff member for help.

The Treat Truck will be joining the event with lots of healthy gourmet treats for your furbaby 🐶

All breeds are welcome to attend the playdates.

To ensure everyone enjoys a safe and fun time, please note:

🐕 Dogs must be social with other dogs and people.

🐕 Please pick up after your dog. Poo bags and bins are provided. .

🐕 Please supervise your dogs at all times! This is not our responsibility.

Treats that falsely advertise they clean teeth should be thrown in the bin. Thats all they are good for. The natural chewing action of a bone is the only way to breal down plaque and keep teeth and gums healthy. Not only are bones 100% natural, the act of chewing on a bone provides mental stimulation to a dog abd promotes a better nights sleep. Store bought treats are like McDonald’s for dogs. Full of cheap ingredients and a lot of salt leading to health issues such as pancreatitis and obesity. Keep that in mind!#thetreattruck #thetreattruckwa #dogtreats #naturaldogtreats #caninenutrition

I love Coco Pops. But would I want to eat them for every meal, for the rest of my days… without milk? NO. I think I would get bored of them after 24 hours. Not to mention they aren’t a balanced diet. This must be how dogs feel who are fed nothing but kibble. As I’ve said before, I’m not here to preach what you should feed your dog and if you are a kibble feeder that’s ok. But I just want to remind you all to add some additional goodness to their meals if you are. Kibble should be soaked before feeding. Bone broth and goats milk are two ingredients I recommend for this. And why not mix up some toppings. A tin of sardines, a fresh chicken wing, blueberries….. dogs never ate highly processed foods way back before man came along. So why should they now just for our convenience? Mix it up. Make dinner time more enjoyable and give their bodies a nutritional boost! #thetreattruck #thetreattruckwa #dognutrition#caninenutrition

Hi I’m Peta…. Most people call me Pie. 🐕 I completed my certificate in Canine & Feline Nutrition in 2002. In 2015 I completed a certificate in Beef Cattle Management and am currently studying a Diploma in Canine Nutrition. 🐕 I have 2 dogs. Gorilla, the famous English Mastiff and Squid the Pug who’s my trouble maker boy. 🐕 On my days off you will find me on a picnic with my besties and Gorilla or watching serial killer doccos. 🐕 My favourite fruit and flavour is passion fruit. 🐕 I’m known to make the best Rocky Road and a mean Banoffee Pie. 🐕 I am a huge Collingwood supporter and yes, I have all my own teeth! 🐕 I’m allergic to Burmese cats. 🐕 I can never say no to a jam and cream donut 🤤 🐕 If I could be any animal I would be a grizzly bear. Sleep for 6 months of the year. Doesn’t matter if you are fat. Eat salmon all day. Bear hugs…. 🐕 I grew up watching The Goonies, Gremlims and The NeverEnding Story and can still recite them word for word. 🐕 I am covered in tattoos but scared of piercings 😳 🐕 I am a workaholic like my dad. He’s 83 and still works as a labourer!
