We are getting absolutely slammed with surrender requests, far more emails to surrender than to foster, that’s for sure 😭

Stella is one such dog who is hoping to come to DFL. So if you’re interested in fostering or adopting her, please get in touch ASAP. In the meantime she’s still with her family.

She’s a small 2yo Kelpie X (easily scooped up by volunteer Emma, as you can see!) and she is a very loving, quiet, eager to please, sensitive girl 🩷

Her owners have both taken on FIFO roles and have moved house, and sensitive Stella isn’t coping with the change. She needs more time and love and attention than they can give right now 🥺

Stella loves puppies and tends to be more comfortable around smaller dogs than big/boisterous ones. However, she did well meeting trainer Eric’s dogs, so she’s got good potential to live with a playful male dog in her new home, and we imagine having company will do wonders for Stella.
