We need to find a new home so we can keep recycling plastic lids in Perth. Can you help us get a new cheap or free space to work out of?

We have until September 30 to find and move into a new place and keep this project going!

Sadly the peppercorn lease in Barrack Street for our Made in the City of. plastic recycling project has come to an end due to required structural building works on site.

We now have until September 30 to find and move to a new site! We are looking for a 40-50 Sqm space to operate our workshop in.

We need to have access to power, water and ventilation for the plastic recycling operation.

If anyone has or knows of a space we can use. Pease reach out in the comments or DM us.

We had a good time at the ENACTUS Sustainability Festival at Lakeside Shopping Centre at the weekend. Thanks to Enactus for inviting us to be there and a shout out to our volunteer - Daniela - for looking after the stall while Toby spoke on the stage.

Cute new earrings now available in store at Made in the City of. 69 Barrack Street, Perth CBD.

These drops of colour are made from the twin bursts that come out of our mould vents during production. Each set is formed at the same time and is an entirely unique pair in both colour mix and shape.

We launched our new social enterprise, Made in the City of. last night with a great crowd of supporters!

Made in the City of. is Perth’s new home for designer products made from 100% recycled trash plastic lids. We are collecting lids all around the City and making them into new products on-site.

Made in the City of. is located at 69 Barrack Street, Perth CBD with the Retail Studio open Thursdays - Saturdays each week from 11am-ish and including Friday late nights to 9pm.

We have launched with a range of homewares and accessories perfect to use yourself or make a great gift! Keep an eye on our socials as we introduce each product and come see us in store!

We are getting excited about launching our new social enterprise, Made in the City of. this coming Thursday as part of Perth Design Week. One of the great creatives we have been working with to bring this to life is Vee Gregg from Studio Vee. He’s done our large illuminated sign in-store and hanging over the street. We couldn’t be more pleased with them, they look really fantastic.
