Eddie "Olecx Eire Wicklowe" was awarded Neuter Challenge Dog in both Championship shows on the Weekend under American Judges Kimberly Washington and Anita Zagraniczny. This has given him enough points for is Neuter Champion Title.

We had a massive weekend at the SBTCWA Championship Show last weekend, our little Athena "Onahi Blissful Goddess" was awarded Runner Up Best in Show under American Judge Kimberly Washington.

Such a stunning girl bred by Mel and Anthony Mclean.

Thank you Steve and Janine Meyerkort for helping us get her ready for the show.

Olecx Eire Wicklowe (Eddie) competed in the Lure Coursing Event in Wooroloo on the 10th of September, he has finally achieved his JC title and was also awarded Best Junior Courser of the Day under Judge Danielle Simpson.

Our club is creating a 2024 Calendar featuring our beloved breed.
If you have a great photo of your Staffordshire Bull Terrier and would like to see it featured in the calendar, please email your high-resolution photo to [email protected]

We want to make this calendar all about the wonderful things that make up this amazing breed. The calendar will be available to purchase approximately early November 2023 and advertised on the clubs page.

This year we have Property Classes. This is open to all Staffordshire Bull Terrier owners, not just those entered in the championship shows.

One of these classes we would like to point out is BRACE as you may want to start practising. For those who are unaware of what Brace is it is two Staffordshire Bull Terriers handled by one person whilst being judged in the ring. In this property class two dogs show together, and must not only conform to the standard, but also look and move as one.

PERTH ROYAL SHOW 2023

This year there are 31 Staffords entered to compete at the Perth Royal Show. They will be on display on Friday 29th September.

There is an app in your app store which will provide you with a map of where to find us.

The club would like to wish all competitors the very best of luck! We hope to see a Stafford back in the ring on the Saturday to compete for an in show prize.

Last weekend was Eddie's first day in the Show Ring, by all accounts he did quite well winning second place in his class.

Eddie's first outing on the Luring Course was met with disappointment, poor Eddie wasn't too sure what to do. However on the second day of the of the trial he worked it out and proved to have the same ability as his mother (Cleo) and Father (Brock). He ended the weekend with his first pass towards his JC title.

With the beginning of the 2022 luring season, Cleo hasn't missed a beat. She is still highly eager to compete and ended the weekend with 2 pass certificates 159 and 153 out of a possible 200.
