Here at Wattle Grove Veterinary Hospital, we believe that healthy animals need a healthy climate, so our practice is excited to announce that we are taking part in the Climate Care Program!
Developed by our friends at Vets for Climate Action, the program will help us to learn how we can make our practice environmentally sustainable.
Over the next few months, we’ll be learning about:
• better recycling practices to minimise our landfill
• protecting our precious water resources
• energy use and efficiency
• renewable energy
• how to make better buying decisions, and
• chemicals, toxins and pharmaceuticals.
This is one way we are doing our bit to be more sustainable and help to halt climate change.
We’re looking forward to sharing our Climate Care journey with you and our Climate Champions Angela Hodgson and Katalin Szombathy are happy to answer any questions. In the meantime, we’d love to hear about actions you take in your own home and everyday life to be more environmentally friendly. Share below in the comments!
