It was great to see so many people in attendance joining in the games, having fun or just watching.
Many thanks to my helpers, Anastasia Hope, Roy Smith, Robyn Terese, Tory's family for doing sausage sizzle and to all the people who helped put equipment away.

If you’re dog is suffering from this disease (also known as a**l furunculosis) please ask for a referral to a specialist like Dr Meng . Correct management is crucial.

It's heating up so please take care of your pets.
Do not shave your German Shepherd thinking it will be cooler, it actually makes them hotter.
Shaving double coated dogs like GSDs ruins their coats.

Congratulations to Gabmalu Noir for winning Junior in show at the Working Dog Club Open Show today. Judged by Delia Wells.
She had a busy weekend, Saturday night competed in Sprint dogs & Sunday morning competed in the graduation with a 3rd place.
Well done, great all round performance

Closed Club Trial 2024
This brings the end of year for training and graduations.
Well done to all competitors.
Nerves got the better of some competitors but never mind, it's all part of learning.

Family Fun Day obstacle course

Closed Club Trial Level 1 Recall through the crowd exercise. It doesn't always go to plan but 3 out of 4 did it 😃

REMINDER to all Club Members This Sunday is the City to Surf fun run so if you live NOR and ususaully come through the city to get to training you will have to find a different route and/or leave earlier.

Please be careful driving on our grounds and keep your dogs under control. Our resident ducks are back for breeding season. They typically hang out in long grass near bottom end of greyhound track.

Demonstrating with Freya, the pocket rocket 😀 First time teaching back end awareness in this class. The idea is to get the dogs to use their back legs around to move around. Not as simple as it sounds but the pocket rocket was a great example to demonstrate with considering it was her first time doing it. Thanks Andrea and Alex for letting me use Freya.
