BONS STORY:
Bon was actually found in a prison farm, a prisoner found him and was caring for him in the cell until a prison officer realised and brought him into DGA. He was only 4 weeks old when we got him. That prisoner saved his life.

All our kittens come to you with their kitten vaccinations, microchip, sterilization, regular flea and worming treatment, up until date of adoption.

We have had two sweet babies come into care over the weekend after being found on an industrial estate 🐈
They were both very dehydrated, dirty and stressed!

Unfortunately one of these babies was having eye trouble and took incredible care of them and relieved a lot of her discomfort so she could come into foster care. After getting home to foster care over the first night her eye deteriorated and she was rushed to and the decision was made to perform an enucleation. She is doing absolutely incredibly and is so much more comfortable!

We will be introducing these two gorgeous babies over the next week as they settle in and we learn their personalities. But we wanted to take an opportunity to thank the wonderful veterinary hospitals who are able to assist us in saving lives.

We are needing to raise funds to assist us in covering her surgery and medications. If you are in a position to assist we are, as always, incredibly grateful. It is your support that allows these creatures another shot!

Introducing Achilles 🐰

Achilles was born on 13 January 2024 (9 months old). He is a medium-large REW male with a delightfully adventurous, intelligent, quirky, and loving personality!
All he wants is to be loved! Achilles loves to explore outside; the sheer amount of zoomies and binkies is next-level impressive! He is always around his family and is very curious as to what everyone is doing or, more importantly if it's treat time yet! He likes to park his body under the dining table and dead-flop, albeit with one ear open!

Achilles loves to be groomed and brushed, usually ending with plenty of teeth purring and clicking! Lots of head pats and ear twirls on his level are his absolute favourite; he'll be asleep in no time. He is fully toilet trained, very clean, and is one bun that likes to keep himself looking dapper with plenty of self-grooming.

Achilles has been largely a free-range rabbit with a penned home base. He would suit a home where he is a spoilt single bun and accepted as an important member of the family—not just a rabbit. He's looking for someone who will spend time with him and work on his self-confidence and trust.

Achilles finds himself looking for a new home after a big fallout with his bonded brother Odysseus. Unfortunately, after a terrible fight, the boys simply couldn't be rebonded, no matter how hard his family tried. For the safety of both rabbits, his family made the tough decision to rehome Achilles, and while a home is being found, he remains with his loving family.

Achilles has been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped with . He is in excellent health and condition.

Meet Yoshi & Bowser, the lovebirds with ! 💖🐦

These two adorable male lovebirds are inseparable and will make the perfect feathered companions for a loving home. Yoshi is shy at first, but they're both very sweet and affectionate, especially with their favourite human.

Yoshi is still getting used to human touch, but he's becoming more comfortable with consistent training and gaining his trust. Hands can be scary, but his carer has been successful with hand-feeding his favourite treats. Bowser, on the other hand, is a total cuddle bug who loves to perch on your shoulder, cuddle in your hair, and receive kisses.

Both birds have a healthy appetite and enjoy a variety of fresh vegetables, including mesculin salad, 4 leaf salad mix, bean sprouts, and broccoli.

BON SCOTT - 5 weeks old!

From a prison cell (He was found in a prisoners cell within the walls of a prison farm) to the beautiful luxury of a foster home, Bon is thriving! He eats like a champion and is very human affectionate. He will come to you when you call him with lots of meow's & he loves any attention.

He is a total cuddle bug an an absolute purr pot. He adores snuggling up for some quality cuddle time and is always ready for a play session with his favourite toys. With a playful spirit and a love for food, he'll definitely let you know when it's mealtime, his adorable demands are hard to resist!

Our amazing foster carer's family snapped these gorgeous photos of him, which really shows you his cheeky personality.

Accepting Applications 🐾

Our girl Siona has been in care with us for 6months! You may remember her entire litter came into DGA's care together. We've held onto Siona as we noticed something was a bit odd with one of her eyes.

Siona has had treatment with the Perth Animal Eye Hospital and support from their ophthalmologists but eventually the decision was made to have an enucleation and remove her eye. had a great team and Siona is now recovered and doing so well!

We are now ready to help Siona find her forever home!
Siona is now 7 months old. Her foster carer calls her an absolute sweetheart! She has handled all of her eye drops, treatment and the discomfort from her eye like a little champion.

Siona sleeps in bed all night with her foster carers, she loves getting cosy in their bed. She is fostered with two big dogs and a cat brother and she gets on splendidly with them all. Siona plays well with her cat brother and they cause a lot of laughs silently whacking eachother 😂 she loves being able to play with him. She's very happy to play alone and entertain herself too.

She absolutely loves a cuddle and some scratches, craving attention! While she doesn't play with the dogs, she happily tolerates being in bed with them or on the couch with them and isn't bothered by their excitement.

Eleanor - Accepting Applications!

Say hi to Eleanor, or Ellie as we call her!
Ellie is a curious and adorable Mini Lop Rabbit. She has spent the last year and a half in foster care, where she has been showered with love and safety, and is ready to find a new family to share her life with.

Though her origins were difficult, Ellie has come a long way and has so much happiness and enjoyment in her life. Now aged 2.5 years of age, her personality has really come through in a nurturing environment, and it’s clear that she is an adventurous and spirited rabbit who loves to explore her surroundings. Her curiosity is endearing, always sniffing around her enclosure or climbing atop her hay feeder to survey her domain in a perfect rabbit parkour style.

Ellie has also proven to be highly food-motivated, making it easier for her new family to train her using yummy hay based treats, her daily pellets, or some delicious veggies. She would be a great pet for someone interested in bonding with their bunny by teaching her some neat tricks!

Eleanor’s ideal day includes periods of high energy, particularly around dusk when she loves performing “zoomies” and “binkies” around her enclosure. During the day, she rather enjoys some gentle affection from her caregivers.

Ellie would thrive in a space that offers room for her to explore and play freely. She’ll bound her way into your heart with her boundless energy, charming personality, and bunny parkour skills! Who knows, maybe you’re the perfect match for our lovely Eleanor.

Joan (now named NALA) Update!

Nala has been with her forever family for just under two weeks now, and she immediately warmed to her two human brothers and Woody, the 1-year-old Blue Heeler X Mastiff. She’s settled in beautifully and her new family adores her.

She spends her days curled up with her human brothers in bed and playing non-stop with Woody! Occasionally, she even gets to visit her other furry siblings, the horses.

Woody absolutely adores his new doggy sister—it's definitely a perfect pairing!

Meet Hershey, a one and a half year old desexed male Dwarf Lop rabbit who is as sweet and delightful as his name suggests. With his stunning chocolate-coloured coat and always-on-the-move personality, Hershey brings a whole lot of whimsy and charm into any environment.

Hershey's dynamic spirit is guaranteed to keep you entertained; capturing his mischievous antics on camera is nearly impossible! However, this busy little guy knows when to hit the pause button for a good snuggle. There's nothing he likes more than sinking into the ground for a loving head scratch.

Exploration is one of Hershey's favourite pastimes. Whilst he's not as obsessed with grass-eating as some of his rabbit friends, he revels in garden exploration. Enriching his environment with some safe chewable items would satisfy his natural curiosity.
