We have a very exciting opportunity opening to join the team at Precision K9 Training and work under one of Western Australia’s most highly regarded dog trainers. Jake Kenny is a highly skilled dog trainer who has worked and trained dogs both domestically and internationally. We are excited and proud to be expanding to a brand-new state of the art training and boarding facility located in Bullsbrook.
We are currently seeking expression of interest for various roles including but not limited to dog trainers, animal attendants to join our team from February. Shifts will available 7 days a week and operate between 7am-6pm with the option of short and split shifts available. Duties will include but are not limited to kennel cleaning, customer service, animal care activities such as washing, grooming, exercising and feeding dogs.
The ideal team member will fit the following criteria:
Essential:
Current National Police Clearance
A current driver’s license
Have excellent computer, phone and customer communication skills.
Be punctual, reliable, willing to work and eager to learn
Have excellent organizational skills, time management and the ability to cope in high pressure situations.
A passion and confidence for working with dogs of all sizes
No allergies or sensitivities to dogs or cleaning chemicals
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
Ability to work across a 7 day roster including Public Holidays
Desirable:
Previous experience in the animal industry
