Fur Kidz Resort - and dog swimming pool

Dear Swimming pool customers, due to increased costs, associated with our booking system provider, we are unfortunately going to need increase our costs from Monday 19/08/2024.
We know how much you all enjoy the pool with your dogs and many of you are swimming them following what has been an already expensive journey into a healthy life.
Our philosophy has always been that the pool should be break even, not profit making. I hope you all understand, running the pool is quite an expense but we are still committed to providing a safe and affordable place for Perth people to get their dogs fit and well.
From Monday -
30 minute swims will increase from $20 to $25
60 minute swims will increase from $40 to $50

Vouchers will increase accordingly but we will honour vouchers purchased prior to Monday.

Get in before Monday and make some bookings in advance, this will save you some $$$

Dear Boarding kennel customers

From the 1/1/2024 our per night rate for boarding will increase to $33.00 per night.

Two dogs from the same household that can share a kennel will receive a $6.00 per night discount ($60.00 per night for both dogs*)

Dogs staying for longer periods will get a discount

stay 28 - 42 nights (5% discount)
stay 43+ nights (10% discount)

* if dogs do not get along in kennels they will be separated and the single rate will be applied

The pool is open daily 9.00 to 5.00 but CLOSED Wednesdays.

NOTE The Pool will be closed from 27/5 to 17/6 inclusive

NOTICE TO OUR CUSTOMERS. We will be taking a break from 25th May up to and including 16th June. We will not be taking boarders during that time and the pool will be closed.

Sorry for any inconvenience to you. We rely on the good will of others to get away and we cannot expect them to run everything for us. We hope you understand.

We all love dogs. If you want to see some wonderful examples of either pedigree breeds or dogs involved in activities such as Obedience, Agility etc then get down to Dogs West one night this weekend. Cnr Ranford and Warton Rds.Southern River.
Entry is free. Loads of vendors on sight with everything you could need for your perfect pets.

Thank you to everyone who has let us know that the phone says it is disconnected. We can still call out and our number shows up on the receivers phone, you just cannot call us. Our internet provider is trying to correct this, it was their error when they ported our phone number and provided us with a new modem.

We had a long and exhausting day at Perth Royal yesterday, made pleasant by good company and sportsmanship as well as a very well run event and the volunteers were outstanding.
Ch Staunchbull Quest at Honhazsta (AI)
Best of Breed at both shows, short-listed for BIG both shows and Best State Bred in show at show 1.
Then we get to Alice...aka Naughty Alice or more formally - Staunchbull Queen at Honhazsta (AI) winning Bitch CC, Reserve BOB and best Junior in Group at both shows.
Very proud of both these dogs.

Dear customers, with increasing costs we are having to update our fees. It has been a number of years since we reviewed the cost, we hope you understand.

From the 1st August we will increase Pool sessions as per:
30 mins will be $20
60 minutes will be $40

Get in now and purchase your 10 swims for the price of 9 vouchers, to save a bit before 1st August

BOARDING customers, From 1st August our rate will increase to $30 per night.
We hope you understand the cost of running a small business is not insignificant. We thank you for your loyal custom.

Don't forget that I will be at Furkidz Resort the heated dog swimming pool in Canning Vale, as of Sunday 27th March from 12pm -2pm offering 1/2 hour therapy and or swimming appointments and on Fridays as of Friday 1st April again from 12pm.

The cost for each 1/2 appointment is $70.00. and cost of pool hire is included.

Furkidz Resort is located at: 45 Battersea Rd, Canning Vale.

Already I have bookings for people with dogs for both post surgical and preventative surgical rehabilitation along with people who are interested in improving general conditioning for their dogs.

The combination of hydro therapy and Body therapy work is excellent for dogs throughout all life stages.

Edwards will be offering Wellness sessions for your dog/s at our pool for set times Sunday and Fridays. Times available 10.00 until 2.00 And Sunday sessions 12.00 to 2.00.

Sessions will be 15 minutes of therapy and 15 minutes of swim time.

You MUST BOOK with Julie directly. Facebook messenger is perfect forJulie.

There are many different types of care and no doubt many dogs have had great times at this place (in USA). We opt not to run all dogs together at Fur kidz Resort, because:
a) even our own dogs will sometimes decide to have a fight with each other. They never go out in a pack. Two together is our limit with over 6 month olds.
b) dogs staying here get lots of exercise while seeing other dogs through the fencing. We manage them by matching neighbours
c) we try to keep our dogs calm and relaxed not over stimulated and excited.

We are not saying that group plays are wrong but they do come with risks. We choose to not manage that risk. Many kennels will run them well and have ample qualified staff to supervise. This should be reflected in their fees.

Get those vaccinations up to date everyone. This is not something to e complacent about. And, a little bit of general information, one black and tan dogs an be very resistant to vaccine uptake. It might be worth following up with blood work to check immunity after vaccination.

The Premier has put us in lockdown for 4 days. As such we need to shut the pool. I will be I touch with people who have bookings tomorrow (Tuesday 29th). If you have a booking Thur or Fri yiu can still reschedule it yourself but if you need help please.contact us.

Dear Pool Customers, due to personal commitments we are adjusting the hours at the pool from 25/5 to 9/6.

Week days we will be closing at 3.00pm (Closed Wed as per usual)

Weekend of 29 and 30/5 will see us only opened from 9 - 12 on Saturday and closed on Sunday.

Friday 4th June up to and including Monday 7th June we will be closed.
