Breeding is tough! It’s not all cute puppies...

This past weekend started out wonderfully! Dinner with family in the Valley on Friday. Our amazing grandsons birthday party Saturday night.

Then it turned bad... an emergency vet visit late Saturday night as our Princess Daisy had a fever of 40.2 😞

She was diagnosed with closed pyometra ( a uterine infection). We went to our vet on Sunday to confirm and then an emergency spey was performed. Our sweet girl is recovering nicely.

To say we are devastated is an understatement. But we are so relieved that we caught it early and we were able to save her life before she had a rupture.

We are so blessed that her legacy will live on in her daughter Violet 💗
