o raise healthy quality kittens with exceptional temperaments. Our very careful breeding program necessitates limiting our
breeding to small numbers. Our Kimara kittens are born, raised and socialised in our home to allow them to develop carefree, friendly personalities ready for a family environment. An integral part of any breeding endeavour is the willingness to exhibit our cats and kittens for the enjoyment of other breeders and enthusiasts, as well as the general public. Over many years of showing at championships cat shows, Kimara has been awarded many accolades, including numerous Best in Show Awards, here in Perth as well as Darwin, Brisbane and Sydney. The highlight of our show year in 2009 was our female Russian Blue cat Kimara Sil Va Leerah winning Supreme in her class at the Co-ordinating Cat Council of Australia National show held in Perth. This delight was repeated in June 2010 at the Australian Cat Federation National Show, also held in Perth, with Leerah taking out Supreme honours awarded by an International judge. The Perth Royal show has also held a Championship show each year. We are extremely proud to have achieved Supreme Exhibit at the Perth Royal Show, in both 2006 and 2007. We have also been particularly honoured to receive the Lorna Thomas Perpetual Trophy for the 'Most Successful Exhibitor' in both
2008 and 2009. Lorna was one of Western Australia's finest judges and we along with many others remember her fondly as a wonderful friend and mentor. We believe our success has been the result of careful and selective breeding and also the condition, health and nature of all our cats and kittens. We adhere to the highest standards of nutrition for our animals. Our adult cats and kittens are housed in a clean environment, and as social animals, we ensure their happiness by grouping together compatible individuals. All our animals undergo regular veterinary checks to provide peace of mind in terms of optimal care and preventative health. We pride ourselves on being responsible, genuine and ethical breeders.
