The aim of the Gosnells Obedience Dog Club (GODC) is to promote and encourage responsible ownership of dogs through education and training.
We train obedience on Sunday mornings at Lumen Christi College Gosnells - Gate 3 entrance

We are entering a heat wave

Please take extra special care of your dogs 🐕.
Lots of cool places to rest, plenty of water, no exercising during the day.
Home made icypoles are often a winner. Freezing some water with bits of apple🍏, or what ever treats your dogs like and put on the lawn for them to enjoy. Many are also fans of a frozen sardine. 🐟
If it’s too hot for a walk, try some trick training or a nice scatter feed on the back lawn for dinner.

Gosnells Dog Club conducts training & events on private school grounds.
At this stage, the school has not asked us to check for proof of vaccination, however, this may possibly change in the future, depending on Government requirements.
Please do not be offended if we ask for this in the future.

DON’T FEED YOUR FUR BABIES XMAS LEFTOVERS! 🐾🎄 “You may think you are giving your pet a treat by giving them festive foods, but many of these foods can be toxic to animals or cause them to become unwell,” said RSPCA veterinarian Liz Arnott.
While some go without saying, here are some festive foods to avoid giving your pets:
• Pork/ham
• Marinades
• Gravy
• Cooked bones
• Chocolate
• Christmas pudding
• Fruit cake
• Grapes/currants/raisins
• Onion
• Lollies
• Alcohol
“There are other ways to make Christmas special for your pets, like providing them with long-lasting chews and taking the time to exercise and play with them before your guests arrive for lunch,” Dr. Arnott said.
