Welcome to the team - Dr Robyn Graham
Robyn graduated from Massey University in New Zealand in 2011 and completed an internship at a busy equine hospital in New Zealand prior to pursuing her love of racehorses and working for the Hong Kong Jockey Club. She then moved to Scotland to undertake a four year equine surgical residency at the University of Edinburgh. She obtained a Masters by Research at the same time investigating early identification of fetlock disease in the Thoroughbred racehorse and became a Diplomat of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2020. Following the residency, she moved to the Middle East and where she worked in Saudi Arabia and then the United Arab Emirates for several years, after which she returned to the United Kingdom and then subsequently Hong Kong. She enjoys all aspects of surgery and is particularly interested in lameness and disorders affecting the race and sport horse. Outside work, Robyn enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, kite surfing and rugby.
Robyn is a European board-certified equine surgeon that has worked in multiple equine referral practices worldwide, including New Zealand, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Scotland. Her main interests lie in lameness and disorders affecting race and sporthorses.
