Scotty the million dollar dog. Having a quick break between his bath and his blow dry.
It's always good to let them decompress in-between each stage of grooming.
(He's not really a million dollar dog but I'm pretty sure his vets would go bankrupt without him)
Bella and Bailey waiting by the gate just uncase they get picked up and don't have to be groomed. (They do have more comfortable places to sit), you can hear Bailey snoring.
When clients get a new puppy, it's always good for them to come in with their older sibling to see what happens, before they get a groom.
I usually lower the drying table so the pups can see what's going on, and they can come look (if they choose), or go into the next room.
Here Ollie was getting blow dried and his little sister Lottie decided she wanted to be in on the action. Lottie jumped onto the table and happily learnt that the dryer is noisy but not scary.
Max showing off his disco moves/post bath zoomies.
How cute is this!
Cesar and Fudge. 2 doodles meeting for the first time. Both with very similar mannerisms. Cesar likes to sit on the (lowered) table and Fudge on the couch. They could be twins.
Little Piglet likes to tidy up the collars and leads for me whilst she's having a break between grooming sessions. She doesn't chew them, just piles them up and sits on them to make sure we know that the collars belong to her pack.
Today's cuteness is brought to you by Rocky. Showing off his dance moves.
Achie, Alfie and Fergus have a quick play session to relax between grooming sessions
Cocker Spaniel Play Date.
McDuff is a bundle of nerves at the groomers, but with a lot of training at home and at the groomers he's slowly learning to tolerate the process. Here he willingly gets onto the table without force.
Baby steps 💗
Bella Is one of my more challenging clients. The first time I groomed her I didn't even get 1/4 of her groom finished. Now after 3 years I cam bribe her with a smacko or 3. Hopefully by Christmas we will be able to get her face all tidy and even so everyone can see how pretty she is.
Lots of towels to fold. Luckily I have help.
Some people think we just play with puppies all day ..... OK sometimes 😆
Little Chevy learning to get on and off the table willingly.

Teaching little Moo to be confident getting on the grooming table and getting her used to the sound of the hair dryer.
