Pet of The Moment

We couldn't pick just one!
What a way to end the festive week with these adorable little patients in this morning, not 1...not 2....not 3...not 4.....not 5 but SIX little pups in for an appointment. It was raining schnauzer puppies with these 4 siblings from the same litter all in at different appointment times.
What a coincidence.

We couldn't pass up adding Mango in the mix with her striking tiger markings and little Monty who is just so cute.

**IMPORTANT NOTICE**
Its that time of year again and we are getting increasingly busy with prescription medication and food requests.
Please remember to give at least 24 hours notice for prescription medication refills so that you have enough for over Christmas and the New Year period and enough food to last as we are closed on the public holidays and altered opening hours for the holiday season.

Fancy ribbons and bows can be temptation for play.
Choose your wrapping and wrapping decorations wisely, or keep presents at a higher level.
Be careful of food and chocolate items wrapped under the tree for a sneaky treat in the wrong mouth 🍫

Prepare for loud noises and firework displays over the Christmas and New Years period.
Keep animals inside in a calming environment.
Contact your local Vet Clinic to make an appointment to organise calming medication if your animal does not cope to help ease.

Be careful leaving food out on the bench or table with all those yummy smells!
Too much food or specific food groups do not always agree with our furry friends, so best to keep all the extras stored away to save the temptation 🍕🍗

Strategically place Christmas decorations to ensure your animals can not chew or swallow items 🎁
Keep tinsel and tree decorations at a high level and clean up the fallen bristles off the tree regularly.

**NO VET ON DUTY THIS COMING SATURDAY**
This Saturday 30th November while we are still open for nurse consults and over the counter sales we will have no vet working so we will not be able to provide any vet consultations.

Due to this we are unable to dispense any medication unless they have been prescribed out by the vet prior to Saturday.
We apologies for the inconvenience.
