🌞🔥 Extreme Heat Warning: Keep Your Dogs Safe! 🐾💧

With temperatures soaring, it’s essential to protect our furry friends from the dangers of extreme heat. Dogs are more sensitive to heat than we are, and they rely on us to keep them safe and comfortable.

Here are some tips to beat the heat:

🐶 Never leave your dog in a car: Temperatures can rise to dangerous levels in minutes, even with windows cracked.

💧 Hydration is key: Always provide fresh, cool water and consider carrying a portable bowl for walks.

🏠 Keep them cool indoors: Use fans, air conditioning, or cooling mats to help your dog stay comfortable.

🚶‍♂️ Adjust walk times: Walk early in the morning or late in the evening when it’s cooler, and avoid hot cement that can burn their paws.

🌳 Provide shade outdoors: If your dog must be outside, ensure they have access to shade and never leave them exposed for long periods.

❗ Know the signs of heatstroke: Heavy panting, drooling, lethargy, or vomiting are all warning signs. If you suspect heatstroke, seek vet care immediately.

🌾 Grass Seeds Are Trouble for Pets! 🐾

Did you know that those pesky little grass seeds can cause BIG problems for your furry friends? From ears and paws to noses, these sharp seeds can sneak into all sorts of places and lead to painful infections. 😢

🚨 Watch for signs like:
🐶 Limping or licking paws
🐾 Head shaking or ear scratching
🐱 Sneezing or nasal discharge
