Nashi 18.06.2018 - 13.03.2025 💛
Cancer is so cruel, we are devastated to hear that Nashi the golden retriever passed away on Thursday 13th March at the young age of just 6yrs and 9months - an adorable Barkin Buddie taken far too soon.
I first met Beautiful Nashi in February 2021, he was the happiest, toy loving, dog loving, people loving Goldie in the park…. Turn your back and he was off hunting cuddles or rolling in the wettest muddiest puddle he could find. Even on a dry day he could find one.
Then when he came for stays at BarkinHQ no personal space was allowed. He was the cuddliest pup I’ve ever met. At bedtime he would cuddle in a full spoon position the whole night - do not try to move or roll over or he would huff, sit up and stare at you until you got back into his preferred cuddle position (no complaints from me)
At the end of 2024 to find out such a young pup had cancer was heart breaking. Caught early, there was hope he could recover - but the cancer was so quick and aggressive. Devastating for all.
His family made sure his last months he knew how much he was loved and lived a life of steady walks and lots of beach visits. Thankfully I got to visit and give some extra special kisses and tickles at the end of Feb 2025.

Barkin buddies over Rainbow bridge will be there for you, rest easy sweetheart.
