Our team of friendly and experienced staff are here to care for your pets any time of the day with an after hour on call service. Dr Anita is a very experienced, dedicated and passionate veterinarian who enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery.

I survived a snake bite and just had a bath until a reasonable time Dr Anita can call my mum to come collect me!. I've found the over night accommodation very average with human annoyance and disturbance and the beeping machines very frustrating. Don't recommend and half a star review rating! 🙂❤️

📢📢📢 It is with great pleasure I tell the world that our very own Saturday super star Bradley Evans has been accepted into Murdoch University School of Veterinary Science!!! 🥳 Bradley has joined me from the very beginning of opening with the intent of gaining entrance into Veterinary Science. It has been a privilege watching him during this journey. He has worked so hard, been dedicated and studious and I am so proud of him! As the future vet of TVHN, I wish to congratulate him immensely on this well-deserved milestone. Love Anita and all the staff xx

Luna is here to warn everyone about grass seeds !!
These are just 3 out of the 17 we have surgically removed from this sweet and fluffy girl.

We know your beloved pooches may love zooming through fields, but it is important to check your dog over after an outdoors excursion to ensure there are no grass seeds trying to come home with you.

They are small, dart-shaped seeds on long stems and they can bury their sharp tips into fur and pierce the skin. Sometimes they even continue to bury and can travel deep into the body! 😱

Keep an eye out for grass seeds, and call us if you have any questions or concerns about your furiend❣️

I feel a strong need to post this. When we say your pet needs to be rested and MUST wear its Elizabethan Collar (cone on head) it is to avoid this!! Thankfully no bowel had come out of the hole created from this dog's licking, but that by no means indicates this dog is out of the danger! What your seeing here is the omentum which covers the internal organs. Strict confinement means strict confinement. A cone at all times means a cone at ALL times! I'm not sure how much clearer I can be! I understand it can be difficult, but...10- 14 days of your dog disliking a cone and confinement is much less dislike than how we feel if we lose your beloved pet from septic peritonitis. So please, if we ask you to do something it's because we want what's best for your pet. Love Anita and staff

Rai is our Patient of the Day !! After not eating for a few days, she came in yesterday looking quite flat. We are used to seeing Rai’s big teethy smile in our clinic so we knew this was a concern. After a huge ex-lap surgery today, she has woken up and decided she is HUNGRY. Signs are pointing to a recovery, but keep your fingers crossed for our sweet Rai of sunshine ☀️❤️‍🩹
