🎄Christmas opening hours 2023 🎄

As Christmas is fast approaching, please be aware we will be closed from Friday 22nd of December and will reopen Tuesday 2nd January.

Please ensure any pets who are on prescription medication or prescription diets have enough to get through the Christmas and new year period.

Medication and food orders MUST be in before the 18th December to allow time pick up before Christmas.

💥PARALYSIS TICKS💥
We are still seeing lots of pets come in with paralysis ticks.

Any pet who is not up to date with flea and tick prevention is at risk for getting a tick. Doesn’t matter if your pet is young or old.

Even pets who are only outside for a few moments a day are at risk for getting a tick. Even if they do not leave your backyard!

If you are unsure if your pet is currently up to date with parasite prevention, give us a call and we can discuss your options.

It’s almost Halloween! 🎃👻
This means lots of lollies and chocolate around.
As much as we love sharing with our furry friends, these types of treats can be toxic to animals.
A raw carrot is a much more appropriate treat for our little friends. 🐾

If your pet does happen to eat any lollies or chocolate, please seek Veterinary advice asap.

🚨REMINDER🚨
We are seeing lots of paralysis ticks this year!

Remember to keep your pets parasite prevention up to date to avoid these nasty little critters.

Products such as Bravecto spot on give up to 6 months of prevention for dogs and up to 10 weeks of prevention for cats against paralysis ticks.

There are many different parasite prevention products out there, if you are not sure which one is right for your pet, give us a call and we can discuss your options! 🐾

How cute are Penny, Harli and Domino from this morning 😍

We welcome all puppies to come in for a 6 month visit and we can check teeth, mouth allignment, assess behaviour and discuss desexing.

🚨New Arthritis treatment alert🚨

We are already seeing terrific results!!

Beransa Injections are an innovative new therapy called a monoclonal antibody. It is a biological therapy that works like your dogs own immune system. It targets and neutralises a protein that stimulates pain in patients with arthritis.

One Beransa injection alleviates pain for a full month and can also be used with other common therapies (vaccines, parasite prevention, antibiotics).

Arthritis is a condition that leads to pain and progressive degeneration of the joint. Signs can often be subtle and many dogs won’t yelp, cry or vocalise the pain they are experiencing.

Signs to look out for 👀
• Reduced mobility
• Limping
• Slowing down on walks
• Difficulty rising or jumping
• Changed behaviour

Happy Friday Everyone 🐾

We’re excited to let you know, we now have Bell & Bone dental sticks in clinic. Bell & Bone dental sticks are a healthy nutritious option for all sizes of dogs and puppies to help fight plaque and tartar.
(As you can tell by the photo, Ez loves them)

We also have a new range of food called Delicate care. This comes with a variety of dog diets as well as a few cat diets. Delicate care is Australian made and veterinary endorsed.
Thanks to Ezzy and Toffy for being our models 🥰🐾

Introducing GAP ONLY!

We have commenced Gap Only in our clinic 🎉 This allows us to put your pet insurance claim through on the spot and allow you to only pay the “gap”.

We can do this during your visit and it only takes an extra 5-10 minutes of your time. To be able to process this we will need your pet insurance policy number. If this is something you are interested in doing at your next visit then bring along your policy number and mention this to our staff.

As this is new, our staff are still learning so please be extra patient with us 🐾
