2025 is a new year, but the novelty won't last long. Before you know it, we'll be reminiscing about it in the past tense. And when 2025 comes to a close, what will you have to show for it? Well, I have some great news for you!

I recently did a major cleanout and I'm getting rid of some oil and other items I no longer need or want. They're all going into a

A room you may not thought about using oils in is the Garage.
Many of us have problems with pests in the garage and around the exterior of our homes. Sometimes the most natural methods work the best. You can get rid of mice using a reliable old snap-trap, and nothing takes out spiders quite like a rolled-up newspaper. But if you want to get rid of spiders and mice with minimal force and keep them away, essential oils may be the solution for you.
Did you know that spiders smell through their legs? This makes them very sensitive to oils on the surface.
Mice rely heavily on their sense of smell, so they tend to be turned away from distinct essential oil scents. Mice tend to follow pheromone trails left by other mice, and peppermint oil can confuse those senses and keep them away.
A simple way to deter mice is to place a few drops of peppermint, eucalyptus or spearmint on cotton balls and put them where you suspect mice may be.
Peppermint can also be used to deter ants in your garage or around your windows and doors if they are getting into the house. Cedarwood is another option to try for ants and insects.
As you know, essential oils are environmentally friendly and safe for your family and pets, a much better alternative to toxic sprays, pesticides and chemicals.

There is no need to pull out your rubber gloves and surgical masks when you clean your home. It might surprise you to know that you can concoct simple and inexpensive non-toxic cleaners from ingredients already lying around your house. Using essential oils to create your own cleaning spray is not only safe for the environment, but it is safe for your family as well. This spray is perfect for cleaning hard surfaces in the kitchen, bathroom, etc.
Ingredients
¼ cup white vinegar
1 ¾ cups water
30 drops doTERRA essential oils
Recommended essential oil combinations:
15 drops each of Lavender and Lemon
10 drops each of Eucalyptus, Peppermint, and Wild Orange
30 drops doTERRA On Guard®
15 drops each of Grapefruit and doTERRA On Guard
30 drops Lemon Eucalyptus
Instructions
Add all ingredients to 16 ounce spray bottle.
Shake thoroughly. Spritz on surfaces and wipe clean.

HOW FAST DO OILS WORK?
Essential oils are naturally occurring, volatile aromatic compounds from plants. They are found in the flowers, seeds, bark, stems , roots, peels and other parts of the plant. They are the plants defence mechanisms to protect them from their environment.
They work fast and are 50 – 70 times stronger than the raw plant they are derived from (one drop of peppermint is equal to 27 cups of peppermint tea – a little goes a long way).

The International Day of Charity is an international day observed annually on 5 September. It was declared by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012. The prime purpose of the International Day of Charity is to raise awareness and provide a common platform for charity related activities all over the world for individuals, charitable, philanthropic and volunteer organisations for their own purposes on the local, national, regional and international level.
Today I want to share with you the work of the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation.
In 2008 when doTERRA chose their name, meaning “Gift of the Earth,” they understood that this new endeavor carried with it the responsibility to act as committed stewards. Natural Produce Wash
Ingredients:
½ cup white vinegar
2 cups water
10-15 drops of Lemon Essential Oil
Place all ingredients in a glass spray bottle.
Gently shake to combine and spray your produce generously.
Allow the product to soak for several minutes before wiping to remove unwanted residue.

Each year on August 9, people around the globe observe Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples to bring awareness to world issues concerning indigenous people. This International Day also recognizes the achievements and contributions of indigenous people in our society.
Indigenous people make up about 5 percent of the world's population. Interestingly, there is an estimate of 370 million indigenous people living across 90 countries. Unfortunately, this group of people also make up at least 15 percent of the poorest people on earth. Indigenous people fight for survival, partially due to maintaining the preservation of their cultural heritage. Incidentally, it's the unique cultural practices and language set indigenous people apart from mainstream nationalities.

The job we all hate to do but made easier. My Mum used to use bleach but no harsh chemicals here just a little of the On Guard Laundry Detergent in bucket of hot water and I got them nice and clean. So just do one side then turn over and do the other then give them a good rinse to get all the soap off. I hung mine on the clothesline with two zip ties to dry On Guard Laundry Detergent does more than just laundry. A fantastic product to add to you monthly LRP order Love and Blessings
