Be good and you will get a treat
Today is world bake day! 🧑🍳
Do you bake your dogs own pet treats? It is super easy and super fun!
Now while we dont make our treats in the clinic, the lovely lady at The Hillbilly Hound does. They are still adored by our patients! Here is the beautiful Indy! She is catching those treats like a pro!
Show us all the photos, bonus points for videos! of your babies enjoying their favourite treats! 🤩
FIRST AID for pets! 🏩
How cool is this new app! So this app can give you a breakdown about injuries our pets can receive on different parts of their body, things to look for if they are in pain, causes of certain injuries our pets can receive and so much more! Just download the app or if you are in our clinic, scan the QR code at the front desk and download the app whilst you wait, select Pinjarra Vet as your clinic and go from there!
Ofcourse, we are always only a phone call away on 9531 1555 and if you have any questions we are always here to help and we do not recommend that you rely solely on an app to determine whether or not your pet needs to seek veterinary treatment.
Have you been taking advantage of the little sunshine breaks lately? Layla has been! Who remembers Layla? She was featured a little while ago on our page for her danger noodle incident! And we spoke all about Snake Avoidance Training with Animal Ark.
Different topic today! This time, Layla wants to show off her agility skills instead! Whenever there is a break of sunshine Laylas mum, who happens to be one of our friendly vet nurses dog, Claire. She will drive on down to the local dog park and do all the jumps, turns and leaps there is to do! She also sets up little mini courses at home!
Doing agility is not only great physical stimulation but also mental, it gets Layla thinking about what shes going to get asked to do next! Mental stimulation is a huge part of keeping your dogs entertained which means they rest more often and wont do destructive bored behaviour!
Does your dog do agility? If not, what else do you provide them with for mental stimulation? A treat ball or treat puzzle game? A sniffle matt?
