My little mummies boy 👦 had a bit of a rough start when his own biological mother decided to go on heat at 3 weeks of age and intoxicated all of her babies with her hormonal breast milk. We hand reared all sicko babies for weeks until they got better and honestly we thought Zephyr won’t make it - he was the littlest & weakest of all siblings. He has other plans on life though - after weeks of baby formula around the clock, vitamin gel & subcutaneous injections he perched up. When his biological mother returned she decided to chew up all his whiskers and leak him out so much that left my poor boy semi bold. Well despite all this he’s now grown his new baby lion hair, ate up nice fatty tummy and makes us all smile every time looking at his super confident smarty pants face. As he’s almost fully changed his fur coat starting from the baby fluff layer he now has a nickname “Woolfie” as he has lots of grey & silver undercoat coming through (this will eventually fill up with more brown & golden). Insanely adorable Woolfie (aka Zephyr) will make a perfect little brother to your existing cat or dog or human cub, he is fearless, active, outgoing & curious little guy ❤️

Happy long Easter weekend, peeps! 🐰

Wish us luck 🤞 as Butterscotch and I are in full nesting mode, gearing up to welcome some absolutely stunning, brand-new-to-Australia, Russian lineage imported via Spain (yeah, I know, we don’t look for easy ways to breed cats here) Golden Chinchilla babies, due any day now.
Butterscotch spent most of her pregnancy 🤰 cosying up with our macho man, Masik, as I just couldn’t separate this beautiful couple. Like husband and wife, they snuggled for the last two months until it was time for Butterscotch to move into our nursery room/delivery ward, aka my bedroom, where she’ll stay for the next 4-5 weeks in her own private room with 24/7 video surveillance and a butler at her service (aka me), nursing 🤱 her babies. Butter is a first-time mum, and it’s a whole new chapter of new traits and genetics 🧬 for me to uncover too.
She’s already showcased her 10/10 amazingly cuddly and loving personality. Though, by now, I dare say I’m confident enough to navigate the delivery of even a human baby - a self-taught obstetrician/midwife (unqualified on paper, but hey, who needs a degree when real-life experience is what we’re after these days?). I’m however a tiny bit nervous 😬, as unlike my other girls, we haven’t been “there” before with Butty.

P.S. Sorry, I haven’t showed off Butterscotch to the world earlier - I was quite pre occupied with all the toddler/teenage Summer kittens.

The purrrrr machine, the cheeky monkey Zephyr is the only kitten who’s whiskers were clipped off by his mother - science says this is to keep the most adventurous kittens nearby, so that they can’t wander too far away.

It’s been a busy couple of days (weeks, years), and I feel guilty of not being able to show you these “Bradys Bunch” kids earlier. Look what’s been ‘cooking’ here behind the scenes 😍. I can’t even pick my favourite (oops did I say that out loud 🙈, I can’t have favorite as all my kids are the best) as they all have their own personalities & looks. I will be uploading their each individual profile on my new website today/tomorrow and notifying those on my “update list” / wish me luck 🍀 (as I also have to move around my boys around in a contraceptive manner (we can’t have any more kittens these season no no no) as even being under attached enclosed Verandah backing onto the bush it’s a slow cooker out there 42 degrees NSW 🥵
