*UPDATE: ADOPTED* IMP 179 “JUNO” 1 Year 9-month-old Female Ridgeback x Staffy Mix JUNO was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of her own a month ago and unfortunately has had little interest. This is now our second post to try and help her find a place to call home as a month in the kennel environment is a long time especially for an active dog. She has become a staff favourite as she is an extremely affectionate and a loyal lady who has so much love to give. She would suit an active family who likes going to the beach or anywhere with water as she loves to swim. Juno has been around children and is happy to share her toys with them. JUNO is dog social however if you have another dog a meet and greet would be required to ensure they are compatible. Her adoption fee is $430 which includes desexing, microchipping, vaccinations, health check, worm and flea treatment and lifetime registration. *UPDATE: SAFE WITH A RESCUE* *THIRD RESCUE/ADOPTION PLEA FOR TIMBA (IMP 640)* Today is TIMBAs 54th day here in the shelter and her second stay with us this year. we have reached out to dozens of rescues and this is our third social media post to find her a home. She is energetic but loves a cuddle and has a super sweet affectionate nature. She is dog selective and so would be suited to being an only dog home where she can be the centre of attention. She would also need a secure yard with decent fencing as she can jump fences when left alone for long periods of time. All vet work completed. 🌟 PET OF THE WEEK 🌟 UPDATE: ADOPTED IMP 512 “OAKLEY” is a 1.5 year old Stumpy Tail Cattle mix who came to the shelter as a stray and was never reclaimed. He has been at the shelter for a month now and we would love to see him go to his forever home. He is very sweet natured however we have observed that he also shy’s away with sudden movements so he will need time and patience when it comes to training as we believe he has had very minimal. He loves people and wants to be with them all the time and appears to be dog social however if you have an existing dog a meet and greet would be required to ensure they are compatible. He is a a little teddy bear who loves his cuddles as you can see in the video and would make a great companion to a committed owner. He would suit an active family or a property where he can run and play but also come inside as he likes to be the centre of attention. His adoption fee is $420 which includes desexing, microchipping, vaccination, health check, life time registration and worm and flea treatment. *UPDATE: WILLOW IS SAFE WITH A RESCUE ORGANISATION* 🆘URGENTLY SEEKING A REACUE ORGANISATION OR SUITABLE ADOPTEE🆘 IMP 467 “WILLOW” is a 4 year old Bull Arab mix who was adopted from the shelter in 2022 and was returned due to no fault of her own. She has been at the shelter for 35 days and has had no interest and as a result we are seeing her slowly decline. She is very loving and affectionate with all staff members however WILLOW can take a dislike to male humans and is dog selective which is making it very difficult to find her a suitable home. She requires secure fencing as she can be an escape artist when left alone for too long and will need to be the only dog in a home. Willows front right paw was broken as a pup and has healed incorrectly however the vets have said that it will not affect her. She is developing happy tail from being in the kennels and staff are trying to manage it as best we can. All her vet work has been completed. We are URGENTLY SEEKING A RESCUE ORGANISATION OR SUITABLE ADOPTEE to give Willow a place to decompress from the shelter environment as we know she has so much potential and love to give in the right environment.
