“Dog training isn’t complicated” However it doesn't need to be, with the correct guidance it can be a lot less stressful more enjoyable and very rewarding. Training shouldn't be frustrating for you or your dog, they are not complic

ated animals, its humans that make it seem so. They are instinctive, opportunistic, predators even the cute little ones. If you let them, they will take advantage of you very quickly. Without a leader it is not clear what is expected of them. Everything should be binary, they can, or they can’t, no grey areas this is what creates issues. Dogs don’t take things personal when you ask something of them. They respect, understand, and need authority in their life. This is what keeps control of the pack & you have to be the leader. Being a former Military Police Dog Handler I have trained dogs to an exceptionally high standard. These methods are what I use to teach you how to train your own dog. The key to good training and handling is understanding how to communicate on your dog’s level. This is something I will teach you, and after mastering this, the responses and bond with your dog will improve exponentially.

Do you have a Puppy you want to train ? Or have you got an older dog you would like to improve obedience with?

I have three programs beginning this week.
- Puppy program’s begin 25th and 27th
- Level one basic obedience begins 26th

The Puppy program is for puppies up to 8 months old. It is a very extensive program covering all basic obedience and teaching you how to deal with the normal Puppy issues like jumping, nipping and all that Puppy energy that you find hard to control.

My level one basic obedience program is for dogs eight months and over this is a great follow-up program after your Puppy program. Or maybe you missed any Puppy training and you want to start now. This program is going to introduce and improve all of your dogs basic obedience. Along with teaching you how to deal with adolescent behaviour like boisterous rough play, reactivity towards other dogs whether it be frustration, fear or aggression.

I guarantee my programs will educate you to take your dog to the next level and help you create the Dog you have always wanted.

It’s not too late to join these programs beginning this week.

Bookings can be done online by going to my website www.jasonharrisdogtraining.com.au from there you’ll see book here on several pages. If you click on that and create a profile then you can access all my programs.

Knowing the right way to train your dog can be very daunting considering the amount of advice on social media. It is hard to know which method is the right way to go.

In the end you need to do what is right for you and what you are comfortable with when it comes to training your dog. However, I would say that if you have a way you want to train your dog and it isn’t working be open to other ideas.

The world of Dog training and opinions is a very toxic environment currently and you can get attacked for certain training styles. This is very unfortunate because it is often coming from uneducated people who have bad advice or seen one bad example of a trainer doing the wrong thing.

Keep an open mind when it comes to training your dog.

Above all don’t give up!

If you like what I do and appreciate my content it would be amazing if you could give me a subscribe.

This photo makes me very proud.

35 dogs beginning three new programs on the same week.

I am beyond grateful to all the owners who choose me as their trainer to have access to their Dogs to have a direct impact on their training and future development.

This is not something I take for granted.

THANK YOU

In this live chat, I talk about:
- The two different styles of Dog training these days for free positive only and and balanced Dog training.

I believe both styles have great benefits to get the best out of your dog. Unfortunately, a lot of people are uneducated when it comes to balanced Dog training. We often get caught up in words like punishment, fear, correction. I feel these words are used to often scare people into another training style. But we need to remember what a word is not a definite description of how it is used. In other words a punishment could be as minor as telling your dog no or deepen in your voice which in my belief is completely acceptable.

In this live I talk about:
- the realities of dealing with a reactive dog
- using the correct equipment to manage your Dog
- Don’t fall for the scam of quick fixes
