The horses are enjoying our newest paddocks and we are loving having the jump paddock in use again now the ground has finally dried.

Picasso, our very own "BARBIE PONY" has been a school horse with us since September 2021. He has had a variety of level of ability riders learn to ride with him. He is easy to handle in a group or on his own. He will work on the lunge, flat and over small jumps, through poles, on trail, up laneways...

We are selling Picasso as we are reducing school horse numbers and feel he is best suited to an intermediate to experienced rider's home. He can be a bit spooky on a windy day if his rider is not sufficiently guiding and connected so we will not sell to a beginner home.

He will suit someone that has developed anticipation and feel and has the ability to maintain gentle contact with him. He is a very sweet man and we will really miss having our very own "BARBIE PONY" around the place.

Picasso has just had his dental work completed.
He can be fussy for the farrier if he is being shod, this is manageable and we can discuss further with serious enquiries.

We are selling a Pony, "Buddy".

$2000 ONO - must sell.

Buddy was purchased to try out as a school & trail pony. He is very well suited to trail riding, but is not ideal for us in the arena setting. He is sweet and engaging on the ground and is brave and pretty easy going out of the arena.

Would suit intermediate - experienced rider looking for a pony to trail ride on the farm or possibly invest in some more education. He does not enjoy flatwork and only has basic education. We have ridden him in the arena and while he will comply, he is not the easiest ride. Out of the arena, he is free flowing and does not mind going places alone.

We have paddocked him alone and with another gelding. He was fine in both arrangements.

Vices: he is a bit touchy around his hind feet and does not like to stand still when mounting up. Both of these vices can be worked on further. He has shown great improvement in both since we have had him.

Will not sell to beginner family, he needs assistance with his vices, so needs an experienced home.
