ADOPT NYX

Nyx is a medium sized male black & tan Kelpie mix who turns 1 next month. He has quite a unique look, potentially even Staffy or Frenchie mixed in. He is a genuine private rehoming due to housing issues, absolutely no fault of his own. Personally I met him today, he socialised with my young cavalier and children. He is a really lovely dog. He is only young so still excitable and energetic. He is good with other dogs and raised around young children. He has met cats with no issues but he is a working breed mix so instinct generally to chase, slow introductions should be no problems. He is crate trained, sleeps inside at night, doesn’t bark. He is affectionate and loving. He will need someone to continue basic training. Nyx has been microchipped. He will be desexed and vaccinated this Wednesday. He will be wormed and flea treated before heading off to a new home. The adoption fee is purely to cover his desexing costs. Well Hi there!
Life has thrown a few curve balls lately and I have to make some changes to my business operations. After 6 months of grooming mobile, albeit very busy and a good business, I have decided to move back into salon grooming. A recent health issue, hospital stay, an injury and getting older have pushed me into this decision a little sooner than expected. I have worked 6-7 days a week for the last 2-3 years and i am physically unable to continue this, plus i really want to start spending way more time with my family.

I understand that many of you have enjoyed the convenience of the mobile service and if you wish to continue having a mobile groomer come to you, I can give you the names of some of the local groomers.

So..... As of the 30th April 2024 all scheduled appointments will be moved back into the salon at 3/34 Jindalee Road. I will still be solo grooming and working one on one with your dogs. Less travelling also allows me to find time to fit two or three more dogs in per day.

I will be endeavouring to contact all my regular clients to chat with them and make sure the upcoming appointments and the future schedule is suitable. There will be some changes as I will not be working every Saturday anymore.

I do thank you all for your understanding. I know there has been a few changes over the last 12 months and your patience and loyalty are so very appreciated.

Harley is a female French Bulldog, who was found by a member of public and taken to Oxley Highway Vets. She is microchipped, however we can't get hold of the owner plus she isn't chipped to the area. If you are the owner please contact the shelter on 6583 3488.

Just a quick update. I know that some people are frustrated that I am fully booked now till mid February. After the break so many clients were quick to get their dogs booked in as soon as they could. I am now solo grooming and I guess I’m a little more limited on how many dogs I can do per day. If you need your dog groomed asap and I don’t have a spot for you I do apologise. I can highly recommend Liz at Puppy Paddling in Wauchope, an exceptional groomer and worth the trip from Port. Great cafes to grab a coffee while you wait. Also Tiff @ Port Pooches is great and is taking clients. Thanks for understanding, it’s hard to consolidate 3 peoples work into lil’ ole me! Oh, while I was on my holiday break, I didn’t have my work phone with me so if you called, messaged etc, I am working through getting back to you now that I have returned to work. Puppy kisses all round 🐶❤️🐶❤️🐶❤️

I’d like to apologise to all the residents of Lake Innes, Sovereign Hills for the terrible renditions (sang very loudly) of 80’s soft rock! Congrats to Whiskey on his first ever groom! You were “Simply the Best”…. Also a big shoutout to Emily Petersen for leaving town, I love Ranger 😂😂😂. Anywho! These are the awesome lot of 80’s soft rock lovin’ doggo’s. Barney’s photo is missing because he couldn’t get out of the van fast enough to catch up with what would seem to be the love of his life 🐶🐶🐶
