Couple of sad days at our clinic with these two gems off to start their own adventures.

Unfortunately, we are saying goodbye to Nurse Tiara, who came to us in September. Even though she was with us for a short time, her beautiful self will be sorely missed and wish you all the best with your next clinic 😭

Another massive goodbye to our amazing vet Dr Emma. Emma has been with us for this last year and has decided to trade in the Aussie sun and amazing beaches for the grim UK weather. We will all miss you immensely and hope it's not too cold ❄️

Thank you both for everything! Don't be strangers 🥰

Dr Shiyao started with us last week! We're excited to have her part of our team and meet all of our amazing patients 🐱🐶

Tbh, we only hired her to meet her 6 month old Dachy Roro 😍

Drew came in for a dental procedure but after his procedure he showed great initiative to help us with our admin tasks. We've decided to keep him on the books and he's now starting on reception. Please be patient with him on the phones, his English isn't great.

Say hello to Tuğçe, our fantastic vet nurse who joined us back in September! 👋

You may have already seen her around—whether she’s greeting you at reception, assisting in surgery, or giving your pets all the attention and love they deserve. 💖

Tuğçe, along with the rest of our amazing nursing team, are here for nurse consults, where we can help with monthly arthritis and allergy injections, nail trims, a**l gland expressions, post-op checks, dental checks, and nutritional advice. 🐾

Keep an eye out for signs of heat stress, like excessive panting, drooling, weakness, or vomiting. If you notice any of these symptoms, it’s important to get them to a vet as soon as possible

🌞 Another Summer Tip for Our Pets 🐾

We still have a few warm days coming up and it’s important to stay on top of keeping our pets cool

Here are a few tips in creating a cool area for them:

1. Shade is a Must
Make sure your pets have access to a shaded area, whether it’s a tree, porch, or covered spot in the yard 🌳

2. Water
Always have fresh water available, and don’t forget to add some ice cubes to keep it cold💧❄️

3. Cooling Mats
These are great for helping regulate your pet’s temperature when they need to rest and relax 🐾

**Bonus idea: A kiddie pool is a fun and easy way to let your pet cool off while they splash around! 🏖️

4. Bring Pets Inside During Peak Heat
When the sun is at its hottest (usually between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.), bring your pets inside to avoid heatstroke and overheating 🌞

**🐾 Summer Tip : Keep Your Furry Friend Cool with Dog-Friendly Icy Poles! ❄️**

As the temperature rises, it’s important to keep your pets cool and comfortable. One of the easiest (and tastiest) ways to do this is by making homemade dog-friendly icy poles! 🍦🐶

**Here’s a quick and easy recipe to try:**
🧑‍🍳 **Ingredients:**
- 1 cup plain, low-fat yogurt (unsweetened, no artificial sweeteners)
- 1/2 cup water or low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup pureed fruit (banana, blueberry, or strawberry)
- Optional: 1 tsp peanut butter (make sure it’s xylitol-free)

**Steps:**
1. Blend yogurt, water or broth, and pureed fruit together.
2. Pour into ice cube trays or popsicle molds.
3. Freeze for 4-6 hours.
4. Serve to your pup and watch them cool down in style!
