Just love this line that originated with one of our very first goats Athena…. Thanks to Ely, we have been able to see just how great Piper has been on the milking stand. Then with our inclusion of the FF Baudin and FF Hannah lines through Stoney Creek Hurley we are super happy with how her daughter, Peaches’ , udder has developed (this pic is her first freshening udder from last year and she has expanded in capacity this year and still maintained great form) Can not wait to get her on the milking stand again once Xmas is past…. This year Peaches gave us a doe kid and we have even higher hopes for her - with the introduction of FF Karinas and Beaujest W Julian Gitchie lines ( through FF Maud ) and FF Betty and FF Naturalist (through FF Pinky) parents of her Dad, Ivydale Paprika -as we now increase the ND Percentage of this line to 81.25% in Tippy Toes Poppyseed With some amazing udders, in the background, to keep this great line moving forward.

We have decided - after a really looooong think- to whether these gorgeous Miniature Nubian boys and let them go to a pet family. We were going to keep one boy entire, and wether and sell his dad, but he would have been so close to the does we are keeping and is such great buddies with his brother that we thought it best to wether them both and try this mating again next season in hopes we get a doe next time! They are just the sweetest and will make any family so happy. Ready to leave to their new home second week of January. DM for more details.

So proud of our little team that ventured off to our DGSA Tasmanian Branch show yesterday. With our new kids venturing into the kid classes and our young does heading up from kid to goatling I wasn’t sure how we would go but our whole team did us proud. It has been a fantastic year to watch all our years of breeding starting to come together and producing some fantastic goats thanks to all four of our ND bucks input over the years.
All goats came home with a ribbon or two but our ‘holy goat’ moments were Tippy Toes Ginger winning the overall Champion Junior Doe with some stunning competition and then shortly after, her dad, Ivydale Paprika being named the Branch Reserve Champion Buck just behind another well deserving ND buck bred by Thelina Dairy Goats.

Ivydale Paprika has done his job here and is looking for a new herd to add his touch of class to - DM for more details (can be put in a package with some gorgeous does )

It is with great heartbreak that we are looking for a new forever home for our gorgeous mother/daughter duo of Mini Nubians - Liberty and Clarrabelle.
These girls need a pet home that will love them and give them the hugs and scratches they absolutely adore. They are the first faces we see in the goat shed every morning and have a way to melt your heart. They are inseparable and must go as a pair.

Looking for some seasoned milkers for your home/hobby farm? We have two gorgeous does who we are looking to sell together. Both great milkers by hand and machine. Definitely have more years of kidding in them and are great mums.
Both give lots of creamy milk and are good doers in the paddock.
Both very friendly, great on lead and in their heyday were very successful in the show ring.
Only selling as we now have daughters, granddaughters and great granddaughters we are keeping.
Must have or be able to get a PIC prior to leaving.

Last chance - we are coming to the mainland with two other bucks (one a little buckling) in a couple of weeks and I'd love to have a friend for our little buckling to travel with.... This guy definitely has that look at me presence. Band goes on tomorrow so if you want to add him to your herd let us know today......

2) Gen 2 (57.5%NB/58.75%Mini/ND) Miniature Nubian
*Dam Rock Ridge Minnie (gen 2)
*Sire Tippy Toes Zeus (Disney Princess-Ivydale Paprika ND 100)
Myo Clear.
We hope this little boy will carry some great udder genetics knowing his dams udder and bringing in the great udders behind Ivydale Paprika. He is gen 2 as we crossed back out to the ND breed last year with Disney Princess to work on udder genetics bringing his sire back to a gen 1 (mini nub/nd) but should retain a very good height.

We are hoping to get some pictures of these boys soon but it has either been raining, snow/sleeting or blowing a gale so getting them out into the paddock hasn't been possible. These boys will be wethered if no interest shown as bucks so we are putting it out there as early as possible.

We will be doing a trip to the mainland, through Vic, NSW and into Southern Qld end of November so these boys can be transported over in this trip.

People often ask us how we name our kids…. We usually try to tie back to our Sires and if possible have some connection to mum. Hurley’s kids have always been Surfing related so we thought it a great idea to look into Chardonnay makers in Margaret River due to the great surfing spots. So Stella Bella and Voyager seemed to fit the bill! Rather than calling out Voyager as it is a bit of a mouthful…. Timmy has been chosen after Voyager’s chief winemaker Tim Shand 🙂 We are so excited to have out first Fullblood Nigerian Dwarfs here at Tippy Toes and this little man is just devine so will be available as a buck.
