I strategically place bowls of pellets / fruit and vege / sprouts around the house and on the bird stands so that the babies always have access to food and that there is plenty of room for them to try all the different foods. Well tonight they have decided to all sit on the smallest bowl of food to have dinner. Things are a little squishy, but they are so cute ๐ฅน love listening to their little munching sounds ๐๐ฅฐ

Our first baby of the season!
This little one is a green opaline Quaker! He is 5 weeks old, and was the only baby for this clutch! He is absolutely laping up the attention, he is such a ball of sweetness.
We will be sending DNA this weekend, our guess is a little boy! ๐ฅฐ
Tonight we have this gorgeous boy (Blue Fronted Amazon) in the spot light! ๐
Just a few days off being 4 months old, he is now looking for his new home. He has started talking, says "hello", "what you doing", "good boy" and is laughing. He is great with recall training and is also learning to step up!
Diet includes fresh fruit and vege, sprouts, Tropican pellets, Forage seed and nuts (his favourite is Almond Slivers!)

It really is hard not to love the Lutino mutation in Quakers! Lemon is our only Lutino that we bred this season, less than 2 weeks and this gorgeous girl will be going home to meet her family! ๐๐
DNA results arrived today for our gorgeous black headed caiques! We have a little boy AND girl! ๐ฅฐ
These guys should be fully weaned in the next 3-4 weeks and ready to go to their new homes! If your looking to add one to your flock, donโt hesitate to message us ๐๐

Our baby black headed caiques are starting to look all grown up! Just hitting 9 weeks and starting to perch, eat sprouts, vege and pellets and absolutely love attention (pretty typical ๐๐) ๐๐๐

One of our pairs of Hahnโs Macaws have left us a present! These 2 have only been together for about 6 weeks so we definitely werenโt expecting any thing like this!
We cant wait to see if its fertile, but either way itโs definitely a massive moment for us as this is our favourite species of bird ๐๐๐

They are now completly weaned and are loving their chop/sprouts/pellets & forage mixes. Super cuddly but also adventurous ๐ฅฐ๐

These 2 are 3 years old and are the parents of our other Lutino Nemo! They will produce us albinos & lutinos in females and males as well as green & blue.
We absolutely adore this pair and cant wait to see them settle in and hopefully give us some bubbas ๐๐ฅฐ

We finally got the results back on Echo (right) & Carrot (left) the 2 sun conures we recently paired and results came back with female & male! Yay! These 2 have been spending alot of time on their nest box recently and absolutely adore each other. How cute is this video of them two together?! ๐ฅฐ
Midori the Hahnโs macaw having a good chat with me today, not sure how many times he asked me what I was doing but it was definitely a lot ๐ Hahnโs are one of our favourite species of birds, we have 2 pairs that will hopefully breed for us this season, we canโt wait ๐

Tokyo one of our companion blue and gold macaws going for a fly on our property. We are all about ensuring our birds experience a life that is close to what they would have if they were out in the wild! Coming up to 2 years this boy has been free flying.
