Spring calving has started. Or it could be a very late autumn/winter calf! I’m in hospital so can’t check and have to wait for more information from my family to find out who has calved and what I have. Initial photos I’m pleased with it.

Due to personal health issues I MUST move this beautiful bull on. If I can’t find him a paddock with his own girls then he will be converted into meat. Please pm me for more details.

The cows carried on late last night so much I knew there was a new calf. Ebony has had a lovely heifer.

Calving update. Kerry Mist had a lovely black bull on 10/3/23, Elsa gave me a beautiful heifer on 13/3/23. Dora has allowed me to check her calf (ok, it was in the cattle yards away from her 😂) to confirm that she is a heifer. All 3 so far I am very pleased with!

Calving season is not going well here this year. Firstly only 3 cows in calf ( I used an outside bull). Yesterday late afternoon Ebony went into labour. She had twins. BUT both were stillborn. Both bull calves but one was not fully developed (no hair, etc, etc).
Kerry Mist had a healthy bull calf last week so it’s just Brooke left to calve.

After a lot of thought (and input from my daughters) I have decided to find a new paddock for my beautiful 2 year old bull Goldshaft Rhinestone Cowboy. He is currently unregistered (but can be), out of Goldshaft Herkimer by Kirup Park Dunlop. Born January 2020, dehorned Cowboy has the length, depth and width I have been breeding for, great feet, and a lovely nature. I will seriously consider swapping for a bull of equal quality. Please message me if you would like more information on this lovely bull.

Starter package available. 2 lovely commercial purebred heifers & 1 bull available immediately. Heifers have been running with the bull for a couple of months. Due to health & family issues I have not had the time to put into these as I would like. PM me for more details.
