Hi everyone

I just wanted to let you all know the importance of having a collar with contact details on.

Today, one of our dogs escaped and made it about 2km down the road before being found by a lady. Because our dog had a collar with an ID tag and phone number on, she was able to immediately call my husband and let him know where we could find her.

Please don’t just rely on microchips, or social media. The easiest, quickest way to be reunited with your dog is an ID tag.

If you don’t have one already, please get one. It could save your dogs life one day.

Some of you might have noticed this big ol face peering at you from the back of my ute.
This is Sniippa dog, and he’s actually the face of Laws Paws!
He’s getting old now, and doesn’t do too much, but he does love a ride in the car, so he’ll be coming with me on the road!
Feel free to say hello, he loves a pat! 🐶

I just wanted to give a shout out to Pet Circle

A couple of weeks ago, my mums cat was struggling with stomach issues. The vet recommended a certain brand of food to help with this.
Sadly, he passed away not long after, but my mum had already ordered this food, and it arrived after he had passed.

She messaged them, and explained the situation, and instead of getting her to send the food back, they processed a refund for her, and asked that she donate the food to a local shelter.

I just thought that was such a wonderful thing to do, and they deserved a bit of recognition ❤️

A pretty good update on Peep and Flappy!!

So Peep is very overweight, and his legs are having trouble supporting his weight. So he is going to be on a strict diet, and some comfy bedding along with some pain relief.

Flappy, at some stage, has had a broken leg. It has begun to calcify, and heal itself, and just needs some time to heal and see if she will regain function of it.

They are otherwise in good health, and happy, and we have another appointment booked for two weeks to see their progress.

The vet is reasonably confident that with some diet changes and TLC, that they can make a full recovery.
