Lab Jatz and whippet kelpie puppy Herbert are wearing each other out π
A lovely adventure at Tangari with my two, Blackie and Leela. It's a cool little park in Happy Valley with 2 open areas sandwiched by natural dense bushland.
Dear little Daisy has finally trusted me enough to ask for pats πππ
Scout having the time of her life!! It was a lot of fun watching her so excited to play with the water. Bear and Lenny had a dip too.
Two roofers are here replacing gutters and I didn't think it would be conducive to their efficiency, for them to have 5 large boisterous dogs wanting to be their buddies. The horses have been kicked out of the paddock and dogs have moved in.
After Macey, Tilly, Scout, Bear and Lenny chased the ball and/or each other for a good while, the pool was filled. I do love seeing the dogs so happy here.
Frankie being shown the ropes by Tilly, Macey and Marley
Frankie started off scared and so nipped if they came close. By the end of our walk, she's smiling and happier to share her space. Well done Frankie π₯
Enjoying a bush bash
Tilly, Macey, Marley and Parker racing in and out of the bushes with a ball in someone's gob π₯
Finally Frankie feeling confident enough to be herself π Cameo by Charli
Introducing Australian Cattle Dog Frankie. She is 5 months old and had her first sleepover last night. She did well. Great that she doesn't have that ACD bark....yet π€
Chill burning calories
New fella Rex is boisterous but friendly PS My voice sounds real strange π€·ββοΈ
Building Daisy's confidence
Young Daisy is a rescue and joined her forever family not too long ago. Goodness knows how humans have let her down in the past so it is understandable that she takes a long long time to trust.
Walking on a retractable lead allows her to be close for a few seconds and then move out again. Having a positive experience with me and my dogs getting a cuddle allows her to learn from them, that people are positive, despite some being ***holes.
Well done to Daisy's family for committing to giving a dog like Daisy a loving family, despite her challenges.
Should sleep well tonight.
It warms my heart to see dogs playing and chasing with freedom.
There's a Bear in here
(Play Playschool theme music)
There's a Bear in here and some friends as well. There are races to run and a tail to steer. He's in love with us and all the fuss. It's A Country Gem.
