His previous owners had used him as an all rounder, but had excelled in Barrel Racing placing in the 1D.
Since arriving he’s had dry work, started on the flag and has been used for weaner tailing.

Barbs has had consistent work while here. He’s a quiet sensible gelding on the ground, although he’s not for beginners. He is a forward moving competitive gelding.

He’s easy to catch, shoe and rug; ready for someone to enjoy!

We’re abit late on our posts; last Monday we said goodbye to Kevin a big Percheron x Quarter Horse.

Kev was an absolute pleasure to have at home, he had an extended stay due to the on and off rain! But I don’t think this channel country man minded becoming a coast dude!

Almost every time Kev and Jess would head out it’d start to rain. They gave up trying to beat it home on their last ride together.

Thank you Jess for trusting us with Kev! Can’t wait for updates on you both and your next visit!
