Our team is seeking a motivated & trustworthy individual to join our show team for the full year of events ahead.

𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍:
• Preparation of horses for competition
• General care and maintenance of all horses and their wellbeing.
• Contribute to maintaining horses- Feeding, watering, cleaning of yards/ stables, rugging etc
• Exercising of horses
• Assisting Mat with working horses in practice pens etc.

𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒:
• Have show/ event experience.
• Be able to work in a fast paced, team environment.
• Have high attention to detail
• Be a confident & competent ridder.

To our friends and clients and especially to the purchasers of horses at our recent sale, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
All of the AQHA papers have been sent out to the new owners and we wish you all the best your new purchasers.
We still have a few lots left from the sale and some Embryo's by Spots Hottish (USA), Reydioactive (USA) and RS Chisholm (imp) for private sale.

Well it's the last day of the sale and being a Saturday, if you have any issues, please ring either Mark or Laura from NUTRIEN on the numbers below, they are available during the day and if you are having dramas with Auctions Plus today, you can direct your bids to them.
Don't forget that insurance is available on the end of the sale though NUTRIEN and people are contacting me re the mares heavy in foal and arrangements can be made to have them here to foal out if that is an option as they are close to foaling.

The final update on the sale covers our special lots.
Lot 21: Rae Park Chimes is a dual registered Welsh Society and Cob pony mare, she is a great lead pony and we use her for the visitors kids to sit on and be led about on. She was previously used as a pony club horse as well.
Lot 23: Niscinda Timeline (Rolo) you all know Milo who is our pony that Dan Steers uses, well Rolo is his buddy and took over as Pepto's Stylish Oaks stable mate before he left for the USA.
He has had basic liberty training with Dan Steers and spent time with Trent Smiths family as the kids companion. He is a real dude and if you're looking for a special companion for your child, he would fill the bill.
Lot 22: Mini World Belladonna, she is the paddock companion we use here at the ranch, she is no fuss and easy to catch with a bucket. If you are after a paddock companion for your pony, she would suit the bill for this.
Lot 24: Henry is a Jerusalem donkey, he was sold to us being broken in to saddle and harness and we were going to use him for the foals but never got around to it. If you get your horses donkey broke, they will be broke to anything.
Lot 25: Coolamon Patches, he is a registered purebred longhorn bull, very quiet and sires calves with a lot of horn, eats bread out of your hand and easy to handle.
Lot 26: YC Tanny 1415 is a registered Longhorn cow in calf to Coolamon Patches, she has had some lovely progeny to him with alot of horn. Very easy to do anything with and no problems in the yards.
Lot 27: Dallas is a trophy steer with a great rack of horns, he is super quiet and easy to work with.

Cat will foal any day to Sorta Smooth, when we brought her she was sore in the front, so we took her off the rich feed and put her on a diet of Econo mix & mixed hay and with this she has been fine ever since.
Cat is by a son of WR This Cats Smart who was out of a daughter of Docs Spinifex out of a Roc O'Lena mare. Her bottom side consists of Bobby Bo Lena with Docs Freckles Oak and Commanders Boy which gives her great genetics on both sides.
She is a lovely mare and with the breeding to Pepto's Stylish Oak (imp/exp) included for 2024 and a 2025 breeding to Legendarey (imp) for 2025, it's a great 4 in 1 package.

An imported daughter of High Brow CD out of an own daughter of Peptoboonsmal and her Australian connection on the bottom side won the 2024 Australian NCHA Open Futurity.
We brought her to breed back to Pepto and that is why her foal is being retained by VQHR. She will stay here until the foal is weaned but we will ensure she gets to the vets to be bred back to Pepto's Stylish Oak in 2024, the buyer will pay any vet fees for the 2024 service but the breeding fee is included with the mare of course. She also sells with a 2025 breeding back to Legendarey (imp).
We would recommend that the purchaser has insurance cover on the mare while she remain with us until weaning, she will be continued to be looked after like a queen and is due to foal the end of November 24. Please call me for more information on "Mia"

"Dolly" is a fully trained cutting mare which could go back into the show pen, she is an NCHA Money Earner and a finalist in the NCHA Open Derby. She is a full sister to the NCHA Open Futurity Champion AND THE NCHA Amateur Derby Champion and a half sister to the NCHA Non Pro Futurity Champion. She is a pleasure to do anything with and a definite asset to your breeding program for the future. Her 2023 c**t sells in the sale sired by Spots Hot (Lot 4) and she sells with 2024 breeding to Pepto's Stylish Oak (imp/exp) and a 2025 breeding to Legendarey (imp).
She is from a great Dee Bar family on the bottom side which do not come up for sale often.
