Bull Arab Cross
Approx 9 weeks old as of 8 September
Located in Central Qld – CQ enquiries only for Puppies

These adorable puppies had a hard start to life when they were found dumped on the side of a busy highway. This hasn’t dampened their spirits — they’re playful, curious, and full of love to give.

At this age, they’re busy learning all the basics: potty training, manners, walking on a lead and discovering the big wide world around them. Like all young pups, they’ll need patient families who are ready to guide them with time, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement.

They’re ready to find homes that will give them the security, love, and structure they deserve as they grow into loyal lifelong companions.

See more photos of the puppies in the comment section.

🐾DISCLAIMER🐾

At CAA we provide required vet work for puppies including the first 3 x monthly vaccinations and desexing at 6 months. This work needs to be done at our preferred vets in Rockhampton or Yeppoon, therefore we are only able to adopt our puppies to persons living in the local area or who visit the area regularly enough to commit to these appointments. All current pets should be desexed and vaccinated.

The adoption fee for each puppy is $350 and includes desexing, microchipping, vaccinations, flea and intestinal worm treatments. To express interest in adopting a puppy, please fill in the online enquiry form located here http://www.capricornanimalaid.org.au/adopt-a-dog-form

Wombat ❤️‍🩹

Wombat was a rescue from the Banana Shire with a severe case of mange.
In CAA foster care she received treatment which can take months and in some cases the skin remains scared in places.

She is recovering well and will be advertised for adoption soon.

Her carer reports she is sweet, loyal and a little shy. She gets on well with other pets including cats. She is gentle and good with kids once she knows they are kind. Loves to snuggle with her owners.

Looking for a loyal companion who’ll stick by your side no matter what? Meet Stumpy.

This solid yet gentle boy is as devoted as they come. He only wants to please and tries so very hard to do the right thing, making him the kind of dog who quickly wins hearts.

Stumpy would do best as an only dog or with a kind, easygoing female friend. During his vet visits, the staff all fell in love with him, impressed by just how fuss free and gentle he was for such a big lad.

He’s ready to find his person — someone who’ll appreciate his loyalty, kindness and steady nature.

We appreciate your patience while we find the best possible home for STUMPY. As CAA is located in Central Queensland, we will be prioritising local applications. All current pets should be desexed and vaccinated.

Approx 1.5 years old as of September 2025
Located in Central QLD
$350

Meet Florence, a young girl who’s bursting with energy and ready to leap into life with her forever family.

Florence is dog friendly, playful and always the first to give everything a go. Nothing much fazes her and she tackles life with a big smile and plenty of bounce. She’s best suited to an active family with older kids who’ll enjoy her zest for adventure.

Her carer says she’s a bit of a “kangaroo cross” — she loves to jump for joy — but don’t worry, she’s not an escape artist. She’s just full of life and happiest when she’s included in the fun.

Florence hasn’t been tested with cats.

She’s ready to find her people, the kind who’ll embrace her playful spirit and give her the love and structure she deserves.

💐Thank you! 💐

The raffles today raised close to $3000!! This amount covers Eddie’s eye removal and the rest of his future vet work under CAA care.
These raffles are organized by Robert, Judy and Peter Schwarten. CAA volunteers simply promote the event and help out on the day.
They are fantastic events, lots of fun and a testament to the goodness in the community. Little Eddie was there too but we interrupted his nap routine today so he caught a few Zzz mid event.

🩷 MOLLY IS STILL WAITING 🩷

Molly is the kind of dog who just wants to be by your side. Whether you’re curled up on the couch, heading out for a stroll, or throwing her favourite ball, she’ll be there with her tail wagging and her heart full. She’s gentle, loyal, and ready to pour all her love into the right person.

Could you be the one she’s been waiting for?

Read Molly’s full bio below ⬇️

🩷 MOLLY 🩷

Approx 5 years old (as of June 2025)
Cattle x - female
Adoption Fee of $350
Located in Central QLD

This sweet girl is all about companionship. She’ll happily be by your side whether you’re relaxing on the couch, heading out for a walk, or tossing a ball in the yard—fetch is her favourite game! She’s affectionate, playful, and knows all her commands. Plus, she’s fully house trained.

Molly enjoys her walks but can be a little unsure around heavy traffic. She’s not a big barker, though she’ll let you know if someone’s at the door. While she’s fine going outside for a play, she much prefers being indoors when her people aren’t home, and can become anxious if left alone outside for too long.

She may do well with a calm, submissive doggy companion if introduced slowly. But more than anything, she’s looking for a human best friend to share her days (and her cuddles) with.

😺 HERCULES 😺
Male - 5 months old September 2025
Adoption fee $200

HERCULES is such a wonderful kitten to have around. He is incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle with his humans. While he may get a little too excited during playtime, he still knows how to be gentle and would do best in a home with older children. He is also very social with other cats and surprisingly, adores dogs! He's litter trained and ready to find his forever home. If you're looking for a relaxed and loving addition to your family, Hercules is the perfect choice.

❤️ LIVVY ❤️

Bull Arab cross - Female
Approximately 14 weeks old on 1/09/2025
$350
Located in Central Qld – CQ enquiries only for puppies

LIVVY came to CAA from a vet out west with a fractured femur requiring surgery. She is fully recovered now and ready to find her forever home.

LIVVY is a calm, chilled puppy and is super cuddly. She is kid and dog friendly - all sizes. She was very gentle with some smaller blind puppies recently. She is playful and submissive.

LIVVY is quiet – she only barks when left confined in smaller space on her own and wants attention. She is fine in the yard on her own but prefers company. She has experience walking on a lead and with crating but would need ongoing practice/training.

Like all puppies, LIVVY displays normal puppy chewing but not excessively. She likes chew toys, sticks, etc. She is used to being an inside/outside dog. She currently sleeps on a dog bed in her carer's bedroom. She is still working on toilet training and is expected to be medium to large size.

If you think LIVVY would be a perfect addition to your family, she would love to meet you.
