This Christmas break has been trough maintenance, tree planting and retic, since my accident I’m somewhat golf buggy bound, the horses are living a life of scruff n stuff and enjoying the life of paddock ornaments for the time being but none of that changes how incredible this life is. Mini agrees 🥰. Big thanks goes out to Bec from JG Gypsy’s for dropping everything to help over the last 6 months, Belinda, Bethanie, my incredible daughter in law Grayson who somehow managed to do uni , work and my horses, Alyssa as always there, Andrew and Annie, Vic, Leah and of course my husband and kids. This year came with much heartbreak too, Flower and Lulu’s loss still raw. But owning horses isn’t easy, cheap or a simple hobby. The costs can be financial, emotional and physical, you either love it or hate it, guess I must love it, and until the universe says otherwise I’ll keep going, still a year or so to go before I’m back in the saddle, till then it’s unapologetically dirty horse pics.

Stud Reduction - not a fire sale

Hello to our Friends, Family and much loved Followers. In the coming months we will have some stock available. I’m not going to list them here as it will be based on the homes that present so if your looking please flick me a PM tell me what your after a bit about you and your budget, if you’ve seen one of my horses specifically your welcome to tell me who your interested in but don’t be offended if they aren’t for sale, generally my older ones will never leave my care unless the home is one that screams ‘this is meant to be’.

Most will be young stock but there ‘may’ be a mature gelding. I was involved in an accident on June 1 so horses will be in paddock condition only, and for vet checks you’ll need to either pay for a handler given I have multiple leg fractures and can’t run them out, alternatively I do have a stable hand but it will be based on their availability aligning with the vets.

Today the Cob and Co family woke with broken hearts, the somber reality that some things just aren’t meant to be no matter how much you love or want them. Flower passed away late yesterday taking with her a foal we will never meet. So loved and cherished, flower was the sweetest mare. Her unborn foal so longed for especially having lost Sq**rt a little over a year ago. No words, just tears 😔 🌺

The Best Horses in Heaven, They Have No Tail

The best horses in Heaven
they have no tail.
This is a rule they all know
without fail.
For when a new horse arrives
with a short cut bob,
they all know that this horse
did a very good job.

Her owner could not bear
to part with her friend
so she saved her tail,
wrapped in ribbons
and in braids,
to hold with her memory
in a very loving way.

To enter Heaven
without a tail
is an honor,
a message,
that without fail
announces to everyone,
far and wide
that this horse
was more than a wonderful ride.

But
this horse was loved and cherished by one
and when her time serving on this Earth was done
She left behind
a broken heart
and a soul
from which she never will part.
