The Importance of Dog Dentistry🐶
As dog owners, we often focus on our pets’ diet, exercise, and grooming, but one area that often gets overlooked is oral health. Dental disease can cause inflammation, pain, and tooth loss. If left untreated, it can lead to severe infections that may spread to other parts of the body, such as the heart, liver, or kidneys.
It’s not always easy to tell when your dog has dental problems, but some signs to look out for include:
• Bad breath (halitosis)
• Excessive drooling or difficulty eating
• Red or swollen gums
• Yellow or brown teeth
• Pawing at the mouth or face
If you notice any of these symptoms, it’s a good idea to schedule a veterinary dental check-up.
