๐Ÿšง IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR OUR CLIENTS ๐Ÿšง

Please be advised that our driveway to the rear of the clinic will be temporarily closed for roadworks, due to finish this Tuesday, September 30th. Weโ€™re still open and here to care for your pets, just allow extra time for parking and access. This may impact our equine clients more than others, but feel free to call us if you need assistance getting to the clinic.

โ€ผ๏ธ PARVOVIRUS ALERT โ€ผ๏ธ
Recently, we have had a number of positive cases of 'Parvo' diagnosed in the clinic. Parvovirus is a serious, highly contagious and potentially fatal disease that affects dogs - especially puppies and unvaccinated pets. It is a very hardy virus often spread through contact with infected faeces, and can survive in the environment for many months.

๐Ÿ‘€ Signs to watch for:
- Severe vomiting or diarrhoea (often bloody)
- Lethargy
- Loss of appetite
- Fever or low body temperature

๐Ÿ’‰ Prevention is key!
Vaccination is the most effective way to protect your dog from parvo. If your puppy hasnโ€™t started their vaccinations or youโ€™re unsure of your dogโ€™s vaccination status, please contact us. Avoid exposing your young puppy to other dogs until they have completed their course of vaccinations.

๐Ÿšจ If you notice any of these symptoms, donโ€™t wait - early treatment can save lives.

๐Ÿ“ž Call us today to schedule a vaccine appointment or learn more about how to keep your dog safe on 46221015.

๐Ÿ›‘ If you do suspect your dog has parvo, please call us from your car and wait outside to prevent further spread.

Help us keep tails wagging and keep your furry friends protected! ๐Ÿพ

Most of our vets recently attended the Darling Downs and South West QLD AVA branch meeting held in Dalby.
There was a number of speakers covering small animal surgery, equine lameness and colic, bovine infertility and morphology.
Our very own, Will Nason delivered a talk on Infertility/sub-fertility in Western QLD Beef Herds - a topic in which he is well versed!

Well done to our puppy ๐Ÿถ graduates ๐ŸŽ“ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘.
