We've been to a few poultry shows so far this Show season and we've done very well ☺️

A number of the remaining shows are currently being cancelled due to precautions for the Avian Flu. Even though this has not been detected in QLD, we're going to take the opportunity to concentrate on breeding earlier than normal.

❗️❗️IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT❗️❗️



In light of the current Avian flu outbreak, the Committee met last night to discuss our upcoming Centenary Show due to be held in August. After a long and purposeful discussion, the Committee has decided to postpone the Club’s 100 Year show, with the intention to host this event in August 2025.

The Club did not reach this decision easily as we know many exhibitors were keen to catch up with fellow fanciers whilst showcasing some magnificent birds and planning was well underway. However, it is the wellbeing of these birds that was the key deciding factor. Our Club is filled with many passionate members across the country who had intended on travelling to Rosewood and we believe making the decision now will allow any travel plans to be rescheduled.

We acknowledge many of you had lodged entries and paid fees, please be assured our Club will be in contact with you in the coming days to refund your entry fees. To our many sponsors, we thank you for your generosity and we will be in touch regarding this. To our judges, we thank you for committing your time to our event and we hope you will be available for when we can set a new date. We appreciate eveyone for understanding the clubs decision. Please bear with us as we reach out to the many who were a part of making this Centenary Show a truly wonderful event.
Thank you all to those who were involved for this year, Please be assured the 100th Celebration show will be held next year all going to plan, however the wellbeing of the birds and our exhibitors is our utmost priority.
