SENIOR SPOTLIGHT

We love our senior pawsengers!

Here are 6 who flew on last week's weather delayed flight, all nice and cosy at home post flight.

Monty (17), Pepper (17), Chester (14), Bruno (9), Mojo (9), and Barbie (15).
Tubby (the whipper snapper of the group at 8yrs) was also on board.

Bless their little furry socks 🥰🥰🥰

It was bound to happen eventually.....

After 4 years and over 500 flights, Mother Nature finally got the better of us and we had to reschedule our Saturday flight for the first time ever (which won't surprise anyone in Victoria or Tasmania this week). It was simply too dangerous to fly in the conditions on the weekend.

So, after a zillion phone calls, figuring out who needed assistance with pick ups, drop offs, and a bit of Pawmobile "you can come home with me" boarding....we rescheduled everyone for Monday.

The screenshot above is our flight tracker from today. The dotted line is our normal route, the green solid is our pilot Puneet's exceptional flying skills in avoiding every last bit of possible bad weather, so all the pawsengers had a very comfy and safe trip.

We have many thanks to make as the extended Pawmobile family made today's flight possible:

To Steve and Narelle from Rustys Statewide Pet Services in Tassie, and Dave and Dale from Showfuraround in Melbourne - thanks to you all for jumping in to assist with road transfers to and from the flights today.

Thanks to Julia at Gisborne Boarding Kennels for offering space if we needed it.

Our biggest thanks, of course, to our pawsengers and their awesome people! We are so grateful for your understanding and for working with us to implement back up plans B, C and D! 🥰

Tonight we are all very tired Pawmobile peeps, but also extremely proud of our partnerships in this industry and our amazing clients who love their furry family members so much.

SPOTLIGHT ON CIRRUS

We've all fallen in love with this sweet boy.

Cirrus flew from Tassie to Melbourne with us last week for life changing surgery. Cirrus was born deaf but recently also lost his sight due to cataracts.

So far the signs are very positive post surgery, and we were very happy to fly him home today.

We wish Cirrus all the very best for a speedy recovery and living his best life with Rachel at Border Collie Rescue, Rehome and Sanctuary in Tassie.

PS Cirrus's surgery doesn't come cheap so if you feel like helping out a great rescue please head to their group page and donate 🥰
